Re: Using FrSky S6R with ersky9x
Mike, The version of eepskye I have does not allow me to enter Logical switches as a source, but I was able to do it on the X7. Using those settings with SC^ channel 10 is at 0% but channel 11 is at -100%. When I switch to SC- CH10 goes to +100% and CH 11 does not change, then when I switch to SCv c...

Re: Using FrSky S6R with ersky9x
Hi Mike, I have tried these settings and something is still not right. I haven't used the logical switch but I would like to. I have had a look at this in eepskye and found 1-shot function, but what values do I use for V1, V2 increments by 1 each time, I carn't enter a Telemetry value (but I don't t...

Re: Using FrSky S6R with ersky9x
I am attempting to setup a S8R that I have just received and it is doing my head in, I have attached the eepe file with the setup I am using and I would appreciate it if someone could give it the once over. CH10 is setup on SD CH11 is on SC and CH12 is on SA. The problem that I have is that the only...

Re: eepSKYe
It works the first time I use it and it will save the file, but when I reopen the file and attempt the simulation again it has lost the X7 switches and then attempting to save this file causes the model to vanish. The is also a problem with the list boxes when you want to use a switch, most of the p...
Re: eepSKYe
Mike, I have just tried the test version and can confirm that the switches are working, but I am unable to save the EEPROM to a file. It appears to save OK but when I open it again there is nothing in it. I even created a new file with just one model in it, saved it and the re-opened it and it is em...
Re: eepSKYe
Thanks Mike, no urgent rush I can try using my 9XR-Pro and convert it later.
Re: eepSKYe
Mike, I have been experimenting with a new model on my Taranis Q X7 and I notice when I go to simulate the setup the switches I am using are not available. I assume (maybe a mistake) that the switches labelled L1 to LO are somehow mapped to the switches on the X7. If this is the case is there a list...
Re: eepSKYe
What date version are you using (Help|About)? My version from March 7 is OK with the channel numbers. Mike. Version 421 20th Feb. I must have missed an update somewhere, I will go look for it and try that version. Edit. Found it and the problem does not exist with that version. Also by unchecking t...
Re: eepSKYe
Hi Nigel, I realise that, and that is what I am using, but I also have Sky9x system that I use as well.Daedalus66 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2017 4:09 pm For the 9XR Pro you need ersky9xr_rom.bin. You're missing an "r".
Re: eepSKYe
More details on the number of channels please (I can't re-produce the problem): Radio type? Internal/external module (or both)? What is the set protocol and type? Is the download problem for the QX7 type? Mike. Sorry Mike, more detail, Radio type 9XR-Pro External module DSM Protocol Type 9XR-DSM Do...
Re: eepSKYe
I've just posted new test versions of eepskye (windows and linux) with both these bugs fixed. Mike. I have just been using this version on a virtual win-7 system and there is still a problem with the number of channels. I set it to 10 in one edit session and when I came back later to change somethi...

Re: eepSKYe
I have installed this version and while creating a new model I selected the external module and set Protocol=DSM, Type=9XR-DSM, No channels=8 and clicked OK. What was displayed was Channels=0. I don't know is this will cause any problems, so I will just raise the issue. Testing continuing.

Re: eepSKYe
Mike, will there be a Linux version available with support for the Taranis Q X7 at some stage as my X7 is in the mail and I want to change it to Ersky9x when it arrives.

Thanks Mike I thought that may have been the case, but as I had not seen anything about this I thought the best thing to do was ask.

M9 Hall effect gimbals
Would it be possible to fit these new gimbals to a 9XR Pro, and if so what modifications would be needed.

Hi Bob, your link does not work for me, but the link I posted and the link Lancaster posted are both for the same item.bob195558 wrote:FRSKY HORUS X12S GIMBAL ($60.00): (ttps://www.horusrc.com/en/frsky-horus-x12s-gimbal.html).

OK the problem was the SD card, even though I reformatted the card using the SD formatter program that João recommended and both Windows and Linux Mint could quite happily read the card the Tx refused to do the same. :?
