The m128 doubles the flash memory and eeprom memory of the m64 chip.
The m2561 also doubles the RAM memory. This alone makes it much better..

I think that at least the m2561 version could behave quite similar to the other (more powerful) boards.

I think this GREEN chip thingy might not be an 100% clone of the m128, and that might be the problem.

Hmm, can't see the connections and the cuts very well. Also what Mosfet arte you using?
On the board that doesn't work, make sure the Mosfet tab is not touching the ground plane just under it.

Check that the telemetry programming on your model didn't change, and has the correct fields selected.

I don't know that receiver, but I would start by making sure the antenna(s) is/are not broken. Then inspect the PCB looking for bad soldering or shorts.

On the 9xtreme use the diode exactly as shown on the 9xtreme mods thread.. Not the Mosfet..

Yes, I have an AR9x radio currently in working order.. But it has a Frsky DHT module inside, not a MUltiProtocol module.
My other AR9x radio that has a Multi module, broke the little battery connector. Need to fix that

Re: 9xR pro intermittent signal loss
The loss of control is probably caused by the RF module. You'd probably better buying a better one. Try Frsky. A bit more expensive but much more reliable.
Yes, you can (and should) update the radio's firmware, but I think it won't fix that problem. as I said, the problem might be the module.

Re: Reverse polarity mod on plain 9x.
My concern was whether the charging function would still work with the MOSFET in that position. Yes, it will because it will polarize the Mosfet normally with the positive entering the source, but it will blow if the charger is reversed, that is why i suggested a protection on the charging circuit....

Re: Reverse polarity mod on plain 9x.
Hang on, I'm not sure the diagram from João is correct. The gate is OK, but I would put the drain to the right of the existing cut (to the switch) and the source to the track leading the the connector (pin 3). Mike Mike, I think the connections I posted are correct.. The Mosfet should be a P-Channe...

As far as I understand it, I would do it like this on an original Turnigy 9x board without upgrade boards.

EDIT: And perhaps I would put another one on the Charging circuit too.

The Arduvoice connects to other pins of the processor. The pins where the left vertical stick's trims are connected originally.
These are then moved to the ArduVoice board.
