Re: PIPO32 - Monster ISU :)
FrSky standard has no up-link yes ...but with Pxx I think this can be possible ....how hard can it be to add ? Any way I like the direction where we start to build/make our own stuff to suit our own needs ...Many years ago if you wanted a RC transmitter you had to build it yourself, or pay someone a...

Re: PIPO32 - Monster ISU :)
you exposed my plot to make the best board for my Micro quad's .... :( One thing I know is it is hard to find any thing between 3a and 10a ...or they are over priced. But yes I agree on bigger stuff you want separate ESC's if one fails it can be replaced easy (hence why projects combing esc's into o...

Re: PIPO32 - Monster ISU :)
The problem with adding ESC is size ...I use every thing from 3amp to 40amp depending on what I build ...also you have then tri, quad, hex, octo y6 y8 ....it becomes a problem, but a nice quad 20a esc add on board could work. For me I am more interested in Rx build in the "connections" board,...

Re: PIPO32 - Monster ISU :)
[BrainFart] So now lets throw a stone into the pond and see if we can make some ripples ....from what I know Frsky use stm32 .... Erazz works on Pxx code that goes in this STM32 ....we have a STM32 based board ....can a Rx be build into the Expansion board ? I hate having to add always the weight of...

There is a earth at 180° and it will case a short. Also you can not test for a short on the connector once done with a standard DVM

I just saw your post elsewhere showing a soldering iron ....hope you have a other one for this ....then again mine was done with a standard tip so I guess it is doable ( I did it under a microscope )

Re: Antenna patch
Ok this is where the hard part comes in. You have to clean it up with solder wig ist. the two traces either side of the centre is ground, and are very close to the ground. you have to place the conector very exactly in the centre NOT to touch the two grounds either side. My centre is soldered from t...

Re: How to set up 16ch Tx with er9x!
I have seen this myself using ppm on Naze32 with 8ch ...however if you reduce the 100% to something like 75% it will work, but still this is a concern for me. I have posted somewhere else about his, now I know where the fault is.

the one above, but you have to bring the telemetry in to the TX somewhere. or this one, can be build into the TX and is more fun if you are into DIY electronics

Re: New sticks for the 9x
Got them last night, sadly it is not a drop in replacement, but the good news is with a bit of work on the case they do fit. The fixing holes are off. I have not conected it to a 9x board yet so don't know there, but will come back. I may opt for making myself a custom case for the ersky9x using the...

on the receiver there is only one "earth" but on the transmitter there is 3 holes, 2 is earth (one on either side), and one is the centre "RF" Sorry I don't have a un-modded standard TX to take a picture.

Re: Antenna patch
got some of ebay ... Again it was not easy, but no mod was done to the solder pads, that was exactly how it came. The centre is very tight and close to the earths. I considered some kapton tape 1st, but the silk was good when I inspected them on 40x so I just placed it and soldered. Reusing one of t...

Re: PIPO32 - Monster ISU :)
And I stole the idea from somewhere else :D It works for me and if you are careful then you won't break the board. On that, the connection board, can it be used also a power distribution board ? I'm sure there is space for a large connection to ground and B+ and maybe even a xt60 (wishful-thinking I...

you can even get the telemetry module and use it with the non telemetry rx's, and have the capability to add telemetry if you want.

they are not the same, one is smd the other is normal .... re-check all connections you have made. Also if possible check the 5v on the Main board ...see if it drops out at time of reset. Check ALL soldering ...those Chinese are known for cold joints, some one even said the power connector was not s...

actually now I have my beta board I may just get a pair ...actually I was also looking at the single-stick one ...May get both ....if the normal ones does not fit the 9x case I will make a custom one for myself. I always wanted a single stick ...need to know how it feels, might never look back (have...

Re: Er9x - Tx reseting
Are you tapping 5v from the main board, if so try tapping it from the switch board (there is a 5v reg see speaker mod drawing showing this)
you are probably pulling the 5v reg into limit and then get a reset.

Re: TH9x don't send
Check you PPM pin to the module ...it was reported by someone that this pin was not connecting (bad solder) would be the 1st place I look independent of firmware. next it depends on what you have firmware wise ...in er9x there are options so if you have selected pxx with a stock module it won't work...
