Re: Anyone getting interference on a T9X

Hi, Previously, I owned besides Turnigy 9x, a Hobby King HKT6A. I've noticed interference, or locking out of HKT6A, but only, when 9x was ON, and HKT6A was powered OFF and ON. It looked like 9x occupied channel of HKT6A. Besides that, I've never had any problems with interference on 9x, and there a...

Re: GPS Distance

About GPS distance: have a look to latest open9x code and feel free to take code from there It's a rounding valid till about 70° of latitude, but works... It uses MacLaurin series to calculate cosine of latitude and due to the short range of our flights it also uses sin(x)=x approximation for sin. ...

Re: Wiki...

Thanks to your tip, I found my problem.
It was just that I was using mixed characters and didn' take care of it, when I enterd the names by hand.

I now got all pictures linked and displayed.

The NMEA How To guide should be ready now (to be found under the hardware mods)

Re: Wiki...

Just saw, that the link is already active.
Thanks.

I think I know what my problem was. I first uploaded the pictures and then tried to link them into the text.

I probably should have entered the [[file:imagename]] and then done the upload ??

Thanks Rob, the pictures should be there, anywhere. When I click on 'My Contributions' all the images that I uploaded are there on the list and I can display them, when I click on them. Trying too..... :) Never done one before and not sure really how to do it.... did someone just copy and paste the original ER9x manual (Pdf) into there somehow? Same problem to me. I would put in the code for the NMEA modifications, but I need an empty (dummy) page to start with. I simply don't kno...

Re: Display of Frsky Hub sensors?

I'm up against it here. I have a EM411 GPS module that I have communicating with my PC using a RS232 converter. I'm getting excellent data and it's picking up 8 satellites from my desk. I've tried the NMEA FW with the module hooked into the hub and directly to digital side port of the D8R-II Rx no ...

Re: Saving New Splash Screen to HEX file

I tried this last night, created an xbm 128x64 and included in using eepe. It wrote successfully to my 9x, but does not replace the er9x splash. The menus are also garbled characters. I am using the vanilla er9x binary, and eepe is the latest version as it was yesterday. What am i missing? XBM file...

Re: Cooking up a major change

ReSt: You already can have channels as inputs to mixes. Mike. My fault. You are right. I just knew there was something with channels as input. It was another 'mix' that I was thinking off. Throttle timer can run with relative speed of throttle position. But not, if you use a switch (throttle cut) o...

can we have channels as input for mixes and timers?

And is it possible to extend the maximum number of mixes?

Rob,
I could send you the NMEA doc as a MS Word (2002) file.
But it's nearly 23 MB big, and there is no real formatting in it.

That info should not stand uncommented. This only is true for the very old versions of ER9x. At this time, when battery voltage dropped below +7 volt (depending on the voltage dr...

This is correct. The output of the GPS module is directly, without any manipulation/modification, sent to the ground receiver
