Re: openX9D

I should have realized that. My excuse is I always think of the switches as off when down...it makes for some confusion for me when I'm trying to remember that !SW means on when programming anew model, too! My preference, my problem. I also think of a down switch as being lower than a up switch when...

My instructor mentor doesn't like the have to hold the Switch. I just put in a normal spst sw. But a push button in series or parallel sounds like a good idea. Now which is better serial or par.?

You have to tell us what software.control system you are using. Stock, er9x, open9x.???

On everything except stock it is easy. It may be easy in stock...never used it.

Need help on VOICE for Ersky9x

I am trying to move a bunch of voice prompts from open9x to ersky9x. I think I have the format audio wrong. I'm on Win Vista using Toolsoft Sudio Tools to do the conversion. The files I had copied from this URL sometime ago (forgot where) sound very understandable...the ones I converted sounded 'tin...

r7

Trying to set up a new model.

Try to Edit a mix for Thr, Rud, Ail or Elv

In the eidt mix menu the first "source' available is P1 with 4 blanks preceding it.

The setting of 'Channel Order' does not seem to provide a source for mixes in a new model

R4

Set a timer1 triggerA to THs or ABS or ???
Save the model file as .bin

exit eepskye

start eepskye
retrieve the bin

The triggerA (or Timer Mode for timerB) is blank
triggerB value retained.

Its looking good Mike. It has a nice feel to it!

Is there a chance my problem with voice sound is also an ersky/c9x problem? I can hear the sounds fine on my tx that I setup in c9x, but pressing the sidewise triangle/start in c9x does NOT cause a track to play. The button changes to a stop/square, but no voice sounds.. Gvars in a working eepe/bin

I'm trying to get my mind around using Gvars. Several topics speak to how to do it in (glittering?) generalities (IM{NotSo}HO). But I can"t find a concrete example of a working eepe or C9 bin file to download. Specifically, I would like to see rates controlled by a GVARs off a pot in C9 and for...

Gvars may be used as the source of mixes, but I haven't got that into eepe yet, only just added the GVAR tab. Mike. Edit: It's quite easy to lose track of what is where. I'm trying to rationise some things, but at present I have er9x, ersky9x, eepe, and trying to get and 'eepskye' going, so current...

Re: Returning to the hobby

A battery testor is pretty cheap at HK. It will show voltage of each cell and total voltage in battery. Some show % of capacity left. Much better to use this a few times on a plane to see what kind of times you can fly and be easy on a battery. Flying to Low Voltage Cutoff (LVC) decreases battery li...

Re: Full House E-Glider, Extra 3POS switch, Open9X, Phoenix

Just for my education, why did you make CS1? It seems to me just having CS4 and CS 5 be AND ID1 CS2, CS3... produces identical results and for CS8 AND GEA ID1 eliminates the need for CS7. for CS2 and CS3 should v2 be something like + or - 15 so low tolerance resistors would not make center position ...

Sounds reasonable...I just didn't like to call something a defect that was not. Afraid it might be taken as insulting in some way. I appreciate this firmware and software too much to want to sound offensive.
