Re: How to connect USB joystick via 9X or 9XR?
I haven't gone in the direction of converting USB to my transmitter. I just took out the pcb from a Logitec Extreme 3d Pro and replaced it with a Arduino to generate cppm for the trainer port. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181216/b36bdbe5826a41c8e78e4a6a5d5cb70e.jpg Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G930...

Re: X9D Firmware
Yes that's possible. Put the EU firmware in the FIRMWARE folder on your SD card and then long press the menu button. Then you enter the radio menu. Click page button untill you reach sd-card menu. Browse to your firmware folder, to the correct firmware and select update internal. You then also need ...

Re: logical switch setup for disabling a switch
You are now using += for the mixers on channel 6. This means add. Can you not use replace on the last three functions?

Re: logical switch setup for disabling a switch
Sounds like a complicated setup. So you mean to say that if switch SB is in middle or down position while SC is in up position, then SC is deactivated. But at the same time when switch SC is in middle or down position while SB is in up position then Switch SB is inactive. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G93...

Re: taranis x9dplus parking sensor
I don't think you can make it work without the use of some kind of microprocessor to convert the signal to a signal the X8R will take as an S.Port input signal

The trim connection is also part of the gimbal wiring. Is it properly connected?

Re: Retract servo programming
Can this retract servo do positions between 180 and zero.
I have a pair of electric retracts and they only do full movements. Of the pulse comes above a dertien tresshold it simply does the full motion. It doesn't have a potentiometer to measure angle.

I have my X9D for 4 years now without any problem. Just love it. Sometimes I wish it failed to give me an excuse to buy an X10S but so far no reason to do so. Stock X9D with OpenTx of course... .

Joystick to trainerport
I have recently converted a computer joystick to output CPPM to be used with a Taranis. There was a request at our Dutch modellers forum by a man who's left arm was paralyzed. So I disassembled the stick, connected the three pots yo a Arduino and added a slider to the top of the joystick. I also add...

As I said. The modell should be connected to the MASTER not to the slave. The slave is connected to the Master transmitter.

Re: Buddy Box Taranis Horus problems
You seem to use two receivers?
I would say you only need to use one receiver and bind that to the Master transmitter.
Then you connect the Slave receiver to the Master with a cable.
In special functions you set a switch to switch over from Master to Slave. It's a function called trainer I think.

Re: "Weight" vs "Limits"
If you set limits doesn't that mean that the last 25% input from the stick doesn't make the servo move further? So the last bit of the stick movement doesn't do anything? While the weight takes 75% of the stick input and send that to the output. Both will limit your endpoint to 75% but with setting ...

Gvar1 in telemetry screen
I have recently build a openxsensor for use with my Taranis
Now I can see my altitude on the telemetry screen.
I would also like to be able to write the value of altitude to gvar1 when I operate switch SH. Next to that I would like to show gvar1 on the telemetry screen
Is this possible

Re: Arduino based S-Bus decoder with CPPM and Servo
No I am thinking of using one of the outputs to switch a power supply to my glowplug. It would be even better if it would switch on or off a PWM signal with a duty cycle of about 15% so I could power the glowplug from a 3s lipo. So one pin to switch of or on 15% pwm

Would it be possible to change a channel so it switches at a certain input value instead of outputting a PWM signal for a servo?

As far as I know the S.Bus protocol provides 16 proportional channels and two on/off channels so a maximum of 18 channels.

Re: Throttle and Pitch Hovering trim
I am not aware of settings for heli's but assuming you want to have the ability to trim a function using S2. With the taranis this is done by mixing the S2 signal to the channel for trottle or pitch. So in the mixer menu select the channel which you want to add S2. Quick press the enter button so th...

My idea would be to combine the available nav light coding with available s-...

Re: Global variable pop up screen
Hi there all.
I had to update the firmware first to a later version because the standard doesn't have this sticky option. I have now updated and everything works like a charm.
I was already very satisfied with my Taranis but am still getting more and more impressed by its capabilities
