Re: 9XR-Pro Radios from HobbyKing on Sale

Hi, I can imagine that software developers should have a schematic for this radio board protected by a NDA, but, now that this radio has been (officially ?) discontinued, is there a (legal and agreed with the owners) way to post it here? That will make the maintenance of those radios much easier. Or...

Re: 9XR Pro forgets radio setup

............................. Thirty minutes later and I've tried to install eepskye and eepe on my Linux Mint 18.3 machine. Both failed due to missing dependencies, specifically libqt4-gui. A few minutes with Google told me this package has been deprecated, and replaced with a bunch of other qt4 p...

Re: Intermittent speaker malfunctions

Your speaker does not seem to be the culprit. If you hear some hum and not a lot, your wiring is presumably good too. Your radio failed indoor, so cold should not be the problem. Probably not the issue, but what software are you running? Sometimes, weird things disappear with a simple software updat...

Re: eepskye 422 Linux version

Thank you Mike,

eepskye 422 now installs and works flawlessly.

Just a cosmetic minor detail, the Debian installer continues to present eepskye as 417-1. Doesn't bother at all.

eepskye 422 Linux version

The Linux version of eepskye 422 does not seem to install from the link in er9x.com in a Debian based Linux Mint Instead, 421 is re-installed. (417-1 announced on the Details tab of the installer screen (?)) When run, it informs about the existence of the new release 422. Am I missing something, or,...

Hi gents,

That was fast, thank you. Just downloaded and installed, working perfectly.

The installer says that the version is already installed, but shows a re-install button that makes it work.

Thanks again

Hi Mike,

It is only today that I realize that eepsky is being updated on the test version thread, :? so, better late than never, thank You so much for the mod, works a treat and helps a lot in understanding mixes on "complex" models.

Keep up the good work,

Thanks Joao, I'm new to eepskye. I will follow your recommendation, but, even if I have a machine running Windows, I try to avoid it if I can. Eeprom to file issue.

Hi, I am finding a problem with the protocol settings in the import of eeprom to file. For all models, the protocol is multi, but the files read with eepskye (In both Linux and Windows) show different results. Am I doing something wrong ? Radio is a 9XR-PRO running ersky9x-pf 4r 221 (05-11-2017) MOD...

Hi, I checked on eepskye and all goes as expected. I also have recovered the file to my radio, overwriting the previous model, and the problem has stopped. I cannot reproduce it anymore. Go figure. Thanks for your time and empathy. Miguel PS, the maiden flight of the model went like a breeze.

Re: Issue with offset

Hi, The second line is not selected in the "Normal" mode. It is not shown in bold in the picture, and is not selected directly by a switch, but by a flight mode. Anyway, the curve takes care of reducing crow up to the middle position of the throttle stick, and start throttle from center up...

Re: Issue with offset

Hi Joao, Agreed that it should, but for some reason it does not. Trims are centered. On the last photo, throttle is full down. Channel order is AETR. Source for CH2 is taken from CH3, since the throttle stick behaves differently in normal mode and landing (crow) mode, but that should not affect the ...

Issue with offset

Hi, I'm setting up a model that requires elevator compensation when throttle is applied. If I set a value of weight of 5, and an offset of 5, the output value varies from -2 to 8 instead of 0 to 10 (?) For having no compensation when throttle value is -100, I need to set a weight of 5 and a offset o...

Re: Feature request: Flight modes in mixer screen.

Hi Mike, Yes, and maybe only for lines that have modes (and not all) selected. In this way, simple models stay simple and easy to understand and complex models have a valuable info. Understanding that asking is way easier than writing code, mode names will be even better. CH5: +100% P2 +5%Rud FM(LAU...

Feature request: Flight modes in mixer screen.

Hi,

I think it will be useful to see fligh modes on the mixer screen, to show in each line what modes are affected.

That will make modes easier to program and understand.

If possible.

Best,

Rotate screen minor issue

Good night, I have fitted the parts of a 9XR-PRO in a different box, and needed to select the option "Rotate screen". Everything works, but the Bootloader screen and the label "Hardware menu Enabled" seem to have a mind of its own. Wonderful piece of software by the way. IMG_2017...

Re: ERSKY9x Questions

Thanks Joäo for the explanation and the workaround. I understand that THs gives the total time that the throttle has not been full down, but I miss to understand the interest of the number. TH% seems to give a better explanation of the throttle usage. When I fly electric thermal gliders, I like to h...

Hi all, I am starting to set up a 9XR-PRO with ersky9x-r220, and I find that using THs as triggerA and "---" as triggerB, starts the timer when the throttle stick is pushed from -100% as expected, but stops when throttle is moved down to -100%. Then it resumes counting when again the stick...
