Good news, Brent checked in and is busy with a few projects as usual. No snow yet but close he says.
Seems like yesterday we were all discussing a new skyboard and pro board being designed. Time sure flys, more than I do lately in fact.

Has anyone heard from Brent recently? I see his skynorth website is gone. I’ve emailed at the last address we used when I just used to say hi every so often over he years, but no reply.
I know he was busy with new designs for RC systems for development companies.

I’m taking my rev c out of long long time storage and have a few questions on latest updates that can be added. It’s doing nothing and should be! I’m using a dedicated modified Dht module as we did at the time. I’m thinking for 2018 adding a xjt module may be more universal to my mixture of D and X ...

I thought there was a thread/topic on the rev c/newest board. I even see my posts on it. I lost my saved subscribed topics awhile ago and didn’t remember to add that one back.

Does the rev c board or release version board have a working link?
I don’t see skynorth’s site up anymore but did find B1 board info as well as the beta closed topic.
It may be time to open the beta discussions to everyone?

The wire is wrapped around the cone. Where it’s soldered to the speaker wire terminals I should have said. Using a ohm meter on the speaker and gently pushing the cone to move it could show up a broken wire. I agree that the speaker would be the last place to look but it happens. Sent from my iPhone...

Freeze spray on the speaker or driver ic would track it down?
Speaker substitution is the first simplest option.

The mainboard has all the smarts on it for power generation/regulation as well as the magic switch circuit. The back board doesn’t. W7 doesn’t have hyperterm anymore so I tried Putty.
The 4in1 shows up as com15 maple serial.
Setting putty as serial com15, it would not connect or leave the config page.
I tried several baud rates 9600 115200.

The Tx and Rx signals are on pads 16 and 17. RTS and CTS connect to 14 and 15, and there are no traces connecting to them, nor are there any connections shown for them on the circuit diagram.
