right click the mouse on the surface that turns RED , and you can HIDE it. Do this on the back and you can see inside. They are about $55USD Some times they will send a free sample .... The best way to do this would be to make a PCB that fits the front panel . all the switches , Sticks / display wou...

Yes , you could feed 12V through the Battery connector to power the radio.

The Fuse on later model Pros should be 2Amp now. The silk screen will show " F2A L 250V " on that version.

The board will run fine with a 3S lipo .if it has the switching regulator upgrade , then ....even better..no issue at all. If you have the linear regulator , it may run a bit hot...if using loud audio outputs frequently.. The change on the Rev B board was to prevent leakage current flowing back thro...

Yes, I know. nut the only other signal that maybe could be used is the SD card detect switch....
It all comes down to if the ARMs USB hardware port can handle the USB host side of the connection.

Re: USB Joystick Input
The SD / USB pcb could be re-designed to add the power switch. you would need to solder one wire to the 5V regulator output. The 9XR Pros 5V switching regulator is good for 1.5Amps....so there is lots of accessory power available. The USB connection to a Computer is detected by sensing 5V on the USB...

Re: ERSKY9x Rev. B1 User Area
Here is the link to the schematics for Rev B.
The only difference between the RevB and the Pro is the Pro is connected to the +5V were as the "B" uses 3.3V
The transistor is rated for 200mA . so you can remove the resistor that connects it to 3.3V and jumper in 5V +and 10R resistor.

Yep ! thats the way mine ended up.
The encoder does not require to much force to operate , so it might be possible to fill the knob cavity with hot glue
and glue the knob on (it would still be removable if needed)

The stock speaker IS good quality ... it is the same speaker I provided with the Sky9x boards. The way it was mounted ..back from the baffle is the problem. Moving the speaker forward and using hot glue or Silicone to create a seal and hold it in place will improve the output quality. Also open up a...

Re: 9XR-PRO Hacks and Fixes
Good idea on the prop saver , I tried to drill out the brass adapter ... and made a mess of it.
It really needs to be drilled in a lathe to keep the hole true to center.
someone with 3D printer could create a small plastic insert for the knob to would push over the "D" shaft

yes a separate resistor is better due to different forward voltage of each Led.
I will pass on your idea.

Its a 170'F flat thermal fuse soldered directly to the pcb . ..its not a 1A glass fuse ..there is no current limiting fuse. Re: failure
The shunt will blow quicker than than fuse because it is smaller , the fuse has a larger thermal mass to heat up.
At 1A draw, the shunt dissipates
0.1R @ 1Amp = 0.1Volts
0.1V x 1 Amp = 0.1 Watts
So
a 1/4W , 0.1R , 1% in a 0805 package was chosen
