All the best.. I am still very much monitoring your progress as i am interested in finding out the cause of the hiss as well.
hope the back feels better.

Re: Adding MAVLINK support
From memory, when I ran this on the X8R, I grounded D4 to the ground on the Arduino bottom left, not via the X8R S.Port ground - and all worked as advertised ... Its probably better doing it your way as you don't create a GND loop. But that being said.. I had a servo wire connected to the S.Port an...

Re: Adding MAVLINK support
Under the X8R you have "Connected via SBUS", do you mean "Connected via SPort"? I thought I tested the SPort sending individual cell voltages. Note, I posted versions of the Arduino code on the 14th, 19th and 27th Feb, so I'm not sure which one is the Feb18th you refer to (altho...

Re: Adding MAVLINK support
OK, I'll look into finding that in the MavLink data and sending it down via the Arduino, then add an Airspeed entry in the telemetry. Mike. If you are having problems getting this... you first have to enable the AirSpeed Sensor in the APM/Mission Planner. Once that is enabled, the Telemetry Data wi...

Re: Adding MAVLINK support
Just a quick response to justification. As one would want to know the speed related to gps. One would want to know the distance in height related to gps/baro as sonar and lidar are accurate for APM flight modes as well as the ability to adjust the height via pot and see the height/distance setting r...

Re: Adding MAVLINK support
Mike, re:airspeed and other sensors.. I am shortly getting my sensor going as well.... Is the debug is setup to spit out all sensors.. or are you turning them on one by one? I think it be useful to have things for Sonar, Lidar, Camera Angles, etc... All is available thru the APM... so I will try to ...

;-) This is not jab to the sticker or products... its all good... I think the rigidity comment falls in with the peeling or rolling back, just logic thinking... but who the hell really knows right... If its firm, straight, rigid... won't bend.. that was my thinking behind it... like the original sti...

Personally, this is all over my head... I just have them from when we built the original sound boards... they work flawlessly... sound fantastic. Mine peeled off as well... luckily I had the original stuck to my printer... I just peeled it off of there and put it back on and it never had a problem since.
I think its due to the rigidity of the base. The new one is flexible.

Re: speaker hiss
Hello ShowMaster,
I have a few AMP's lying around from when we built the original MegaSound years ago.
LM386M-1 (.325W)
LM386N-3 (.7W)
They are both IC's but you can solder directly to them if that is what you are looking for.
You can have them...
Anything for the Hissing Cause.

Alrighty then, I will give it a go, I have to finish printing out a Battery Tray and then i can test the prop setup... too much in the way at the moment to make it safe.
I will report back tomorrow.
Thanks.

Re: Adding MAVLINK support
Quick test shows...
Drift 11
PosHold 16
Sport 13
I have my motors spinning... no props... but they should still draw some Amps... I will correlate with MP and see what it says there.
I don't use AMPS anyway.. so I am not concerned with Current as much.

Re: Adding MAVLINK support
Hi Mike,
thanks for the feedback, I tested the D4-GND, that did not work... the pseudo cells did not change? still at 0.
As for the modes... that is fine... PosHold is more common that Drift.
Strange about Fuel though... I will test further on that...
Thanks again.
