Re: Arduino Pro mini 3 with BME280

Hi David. From oXs documentation Best results are provided by the MS5611 barometric sensor. Such a sensor is usually mount on a board (like the GY-63 or the GY-86) which have a 3.3 voltage regulator and a I2C level shifter. * Still it is possible to use a board with a BMP085 or BMP180 or a BMP280 se...

Berkie, it took me around one hour, to get it running here.

Which Windows do you have? 7 or 10? 32 or 64 bit?

Did you pick the right package X64 or X86, X64 is for 64bit and X86 for 32bit ....

The thing seems to be a bit crappy.

Needs to be run in compatibility mode (Win XP service pack 3) under Win 7 and Win !0 here.

The 'files ' are Config.basic and config.advanced. The 'reader' is the application which is used to just read the content of the files and not work on them. It is here "Text" and not 'Arduino'. When I will work on it then I will open them in Arduino of course. I see no problem in that. Ne...

No problem here either with WIN 10 ...

Loaded the master,.zip and unpacked it.

the *.ino loads inside the Arduino IDE.

Starting the configurator.exe also works.

Re: RPM resolution?

Jim, one remark on the circuit, you posted. My BMP 280 has a 662k voltage regulator on the shield, I run GPS and BMP on 5 V instead on 3.3V. And you know, that, when the GPS is connected to the Nano, you can NOT flash the oXs code to the Nano?! That is, because when flashing the oXs code to the Nano...

Re: New nano and uno boards arrived.

There is a conflict around the respective 12C address's I am advised. I read instructions somewhere that the adafruit library for the BN-180 has to be downloaded and edited with the 12C address changed to xx76. The BN-180 communicates with TX RX, NOT over I2C bus! So why should you change an addres...

Re: RPM resolution?

Jim, if you can not upload 'blink' there is definitely something wrong. There are USB cables, which (from time to time and in conjunction with worn out USB connectors) can give trouble. And check/change your USB cable and use another USB port.

And if you see a problem like that, always try the 'blink' sketch in between to reassure.

Your Arduino IDE screen should look like this

In this screen you can adjust 'by editing' the two config file to your needs.

You can do that directly or use the CONFIGURATOR ...

After doing so, flash the Pro mini like you did with 'BLINK.ino'.
