Re: Frsky Alerts - Speaker Mod
The AMA safety code reads “I will not fly my model aircraft higher than approximately 400 feet above ground level, when within three (3) miles of an airport without notifying the airport operator. " The last thing I want to do is start an argument about safe flying. But not only do we have the ...

Re: Mode1/2 vs AETR, TEAR, ARET
AETR, TEAR, ARET etc, which I suspect is also allocating the channel to the function? This is a function of the templates application. When you select select one of the templates on a blank model, it applies a set of pre-applied mixes based on which template you choose. This is a little confusing b...

Re: Differential Thrust
the 3 way selector for flaps (?) seems to dictate when differential throttle is switched on or not , Luke, Gyro will and should comment, but I believe that was so you could still put flaps activation on id1 if you want. REMEMBER-- you dont HAVE to use any switch for any pre-labeled use, or pre-conc...

Re: PXX work
OK, thanks, would one then need a 2nd 6 or 8 ch receiver in the model? + power to it I assume. What about the 2nd radio? Could you hack power and ppm signal to a seperate module and just mount it to the main radio, or would the close proximity of the antennas be an issue?

Re: Differential Thrust
Note that there is also a variant of the “Sticky Throttle Kill” included in this program. With two independent motors, you need a kill mix for each. Got it, ..... nevermind. DUH i feel dumb. Luke when you simulate his sweet mix, you first need to hit the THR button on the left side... top. Make it ...

Re: Differential Thrust
I should have simulated it first, I don't really know how it works, I mean his mix. But I was wrong. You can either copy what he did to include your 2 throttle channels, or load his and save it as that your seaplane model then add the ail and ele where you want them. Gyro, when i simulate this, sele...

Hi luke, first, did you use eepe to do the interface work and flash your radio?? If so, click on gyro's diff thrust eepe file and save it to a known location, then open it in eepe. Then, compare how and where YOUR stuff is as far as, well should be similar I think aetr ail ele, throttle, rudder 1234...

Re: PXX work
Guys, great work, I think. First, sorry to bother you, but could you describe, in laymans terms please, what one might do with the extra channels.? Is this only for the big fullhouse sailplane guys? or I guess what I mean is, whats the real world simple term application for this particular "exp...

Re: Automatic spoilers/spoilerons - Need Help
Ted, can I make a suggestion, post the eeprom file from eepe. The file that you save in your pc, you can post it as an attachment. The the guys can look at it , heck they can change it for you, then re-post it and show you how to do it. If it can be done.

Re: 9x radio v1 or v2
It just seems odd to me that all of the sudden after a couple thousand units sold, that they should be showing up with newer delivery dates, as a different configuration. I wonder if Steven has considered a change (as costly as that would be I doubt it) in his design as a result of the rash of so-ca...

9x radio v1 or v2
Is the v1 term being mis-used? I wonder can anyone say what the other, if any, changes were made between the v1 main board and the v2 main board?? Could it be that there is just a tolerance error in that center solder pad, or maybe there were, or are, two different suppliers and one does it a little...

Hi Dean, and welcome. Her is a start for reading.... I am going to request a compilation post because there is a lot of info and updates after this post. Good start here though. Basically, you just remove the module from one of those cheap toy looking remotes that you get with a rtf ______ product w...
