Re: ERSKY9x Questions
I'm sorry, I'm still reading that github thread... Maybe it was already discussed there... What if channel 1 is moving rapidly from -100 to +100 - i.e. every 9ms. And channel 9 changes slowly. Will the entire air transmission be occupied by channels 1-8 only, and channel 9 value will never reach its...

Re: ERSKY9x Questions
Thanks for the link!
There are some very informative posts, indeed!
Regarding the X10S - understood, thanks!
(I don't have an X10 myself and I'm not planning to buy one)

Re: ERSKY9x Questions
I have a few questions on the Double Rate and PB14 Heartbeat options in RF module settings. Perhaps, I missed some discussion on the topic. Where do I read more about these? If I have these enabled (and related hardware mod done), how do I know they actually work? BTW, is Horus X10 / X10S planned to...

You're right! I checked the 'source' Nxx files and they were really 8bit.

Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting
Thanks, João!
It will likely work (still can't test it myself, but I'll ask the guy who actually found this issue).
I was just wondering whether this is a bug or a feature.
I have no problems "upscaling" the voice files to 256kbps. If that's what ersky9x expects - fine with me!

Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting
Is it possible that modern ersky9x doesn't like voice files with 128kbps bitrate? There's a Russian sound pack that works well with r219, but not-so-well with modern versions (including the recent betas). Specifically, the model battery voltage alarm doesn't pronounce the digits - the radio just say...

Re: Using FrSky S6R with ersky9x
Mike, sorry for the delay with my update. It took us some time to check this. Yes, "unticking" the "MENU only Edit" option resolved the issue completely! The guy didn't check the r222b1, but I'm sure it will work as you described (I will test it on my radio, but I will need to ge...

The guy had Scrolling was set to 'BOTH' (in General settings). He changed it to 'NONE', but then he was unable to change his S6R settings at all.
So he reverted back to 'BOTH'...

Ah, I found it!
I will explain it to the guy. I really think disabling pot scrolling will solve his issue.
(will post back when I get an update from him)
Thanks a lot!

Re: Using FrSky S6R with ersky9x
Can you confirm he is using "ProvR222a9" please? I've just put this (with a couple of extra changes) on an AR9X and I can edit a S8R OK. He certainly tried it with ProvR222a8 and the "official" r221. I'll confirm about 222a9 tomorrow, although I don't expect the r9 to work any d...

Re: Using FrSky S6R with ersky9x
Mike, There's someone reporting a strange ersky9x behavior while setting his S6R up. He says he cannot change the Wing Type value using navigation buttons (arrows) - there's no reaction at all. The only thing that works for him is the P3. He tried both the new script and the built-in configurator (i...

Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting
Mike, I think eepskye does not store Logging configuration settings (under Telemetry tab). Any changes made to the Logging configuration (i.e. parameters to be logged, logging rate, logging switch, etc) are reverted back to default values when model settings window is closed and reopened. Not a big ...

Taranis Q X7: what element U302 is?
I'm helping to repair a Q7. Initially the problem started with the radio getting stuck on the splash screen (the OpenTX logo). It didn't respond to any key presses after that, even power down didn't work - the battery had to be plugged out to get the radio out of this state. Also, the radio was reco...

Hugh! I couldn't find ANY of these sensors locally.
Had to order an HW-108A from China...
I will post a (hopefully success) report when it arrives!

João, you're right. I mixed up the wires.
Previous picture is updated with actual voltages.
Yes, the points marked GND on your picture seem to be correct.
Points marked "+V" are 5v.

Hmm... With the sensor taken off, there are about 10v on each pad.
None of them is GND - at least not the fan GND.

Re: Need help to identify a component marked "SF"
Gents, you're right! I just looked at the fan again, and this element is definitely installed in front of rotating magnet. That's why there's a hole in the PCB. CYSH12AF looks very similar to the one that was installed. In fact, there are lots of similar ones here: www.cy-sensors.com/CY-HallEffectIC...

Yeah, now I see the pdf! Thanks!
My part looks similar to sot23-4. And that Ricoh looks quite different... I guess it's not that thing.

Re: Need help to identify a component marked "SF"
I also thought it's a kind of an RPM sensor. Maybe something like this ? Though, the fan doesn't even start without it. :( P.S. These are not burn marks, this is some flux and a permanent marker (probably a leftover from the factory). I cleaned it with some alcohol, and it all looks fine in that area.

Need help to identify a component marked "SF"
Hi All, Unfortunately, I wasn't careful enough while taking a cooling fan apart (I just wanted to clean it and replace the bearings...). This is a 4-wires 12V cooling fan with quite a lot of electronics inside. Unfortunately, there are no stickers or markings on the fan itself, so I don't know what ...

Re: ERSKY9x Questions
Hi All, I'm seeing a minor issue with Telemetry Logging configuration. In the radio, I can browse through the logging rate options like this: 1.0s, 2.0s, 0.5s. I think it's better to sort this list, starting with 0.5s. In eepskye I can only see 1.0 and 2.0, but cannot see 0.5s at all. Also, in eepsk...

Sorry, can't help much with the sensors as I didn't follow that market. I guess it may be difficult to find a suitable sensor operating at 5v. But I can be wrong.
Why do you want to downgrade back to the stock mainboard? In my opinion, AR9x is so much better!
