Re: OpenTx 2.2 RC7
That works for me in the simulator so I don't know what to tell you. Now I am testing with today's code self compiled with an explicit -Dtimers=3 but don't see that making any difference. Try it again in the next RC.

Re: OpenTx 2.2 RC7
I compile my own and only have two timers enabled, however, I have just compiled the current 2.2 branch with Timer 3 enabled and tested it in the X9D simulator and it works for me. Tested count down, count up, beep and voice call and they all worked. Exactly what are you trying to do and what is it ...

Re: OpenTx 2.2 RC7
I have opened an issue ( https://github.com/opentx/opentx/issues/4026 ) on Companion 2,2 using BMP instead of IMAGES and have submitted a patch to fix it. If the pull request is accepted it should be fixed in the next nightly.
I only use two timers so don't have timer 3 compiled in and can't test.

Re: OpenTx 2.2 RC7
Do you have the Pot types (S1 and S2) defined in the hardware page under Radio Settings on the radio or General Settings in Companion?
Edit: Images work for me in Companion 2.2 but you need to copy them from BMP to IMAGES on the SD card directory on the computer as well as on the radio.

Re: help
You need 2.1 version of Companion to go with your 2.1 radio. http://www.open-tx.org/2016/09/15/opentx-2.1.9

Re: FrSky Lipo sensor...wiring in series
I think the custom harness would work, but it would need to be the ground of one pack y'd with the positive of the other pack. Would need to be the wires of the balance connector that are the same connection as the main leads that are connected together. Would have to be really carefully to make it ...

Re: Taranis X9D and V8FR-II
Just to verify, this is a V8FR-II and not a V8FR? And you are binding in D-mode by jumpering the channel 1 and 2 signal pins and then applying battery, not V-mode by pressing the bind button? V mode is not supported on the Taranis, but a -II in D-mode should work.

Re: Battery voltage telemetry with D4R-II RX?
What do you have for the ratio on the A2 sensor? That is where you would adjust it. Ratio on 2.1 is what range was on 2.0 so 18.2 in ratio for the A2 sensor should get you close.

Re: openTX 2.1.8 - telemetry simulator - replay rate
From a quick look at the code it appears that it looks at the first 20 lines and takes the fastest time between any two entries as the base replay rate. Not sure of the reasoning behind that instead of a fixed default rate but I'm sure there was a reason because it takes more work to do it that way....

What program pops up the windows? File Explorer? On both of my Windows 10 machines I get drive letters assigned to the Taranis and the SD card, but I don't get any pop up windows. Perhaps some other program is taking control of it. Just a couple of ideas. Go to Control Panel-Default Programs-Set Ass...

Re: Compan TX 2.1 Heli setup screen
I was also banging my head against the wall with this problem, this is a real shame since heli's are the least intuitive to configure, if its not going to work it should be removed from the GUI, it was quite frustrating trying to figure out why it wasnt working only to learn that it is just an icon...

Re: Compan TX 2.1 Heli setup screen
The Helicopter setup wizard has never been implemented. I don't think that anyone with the skills to write the code knows enough about heli setup to do it. I don't fly helis so can't speak to how good it is, but openTX University has a section on heli setup http://open-txu.org/home/special-interests...

I don't know of any good 2.1 cheat sheet or documentation (other than the source code itself, if you have the skills to read it) other than the forum threads. Probably the two best are: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2451551 and http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=45&t...

Re: Proper settings for battery monitoring?
On 2.1 what was range on 2.0 goes in the ratio field of the sensor. It should be 3.3 times the ratio of the divider (13.2 for 4:1). Divider resistors may vary so easiest way is to measure the voltage and tweak the ratio until it matches.

Re: Telemetry Simulator Play back
Since the D series hub sensors are discontinued I doubt support will get added for them, unless somebody with the skills to add them really wants them. However, the D series receiver reported values (RSSI, A1, A2, SWR) should play back, they do for me. I'm confused because your sensor screen shot sh...

Re: Telemetry Simulator Play back
Those are D series sensors. The telemetry simulator only supports s-port devices. The receiver generated telemetry values (RSSI, A1, A2) get converted, I think by the module (Kilrah can correct me if I'm wrong), so anything with an ID of f10x and instance 25 should update from the replay, but the ot...

Re: Telemetry Simulator Play back
What are you expecting to see and where are you expecting to see it? It won't move the sticks or switches if that's what you mean, but if you have telemetry screens set up the log replay should update them. As far as I know there is no documentation other than the source code, that feature has just ...

Re: Turning Off Log Files?
Turn off the switch that enables them. The are only logging while enabled. I enable them with my throttle kill switch. That way when I enable throttle it enables logs and when I kill throttle it stops the logs. That way I never forget to turn them on or off.

Re: companion 9x software not recognizing Taranis plus
First off you with a Taranis Plus at 2.0.17 you should not be using Companion9x. You should be using OpenTX Companion 2.0.17 which can be downloaded from http://www.open-tx.org/2015/05/04/opentx-2.0.17/ . Second with a plus at 2.0.17 you should not need to install any drivers (connecting powered on ...

Sorry Kilrah, should have listed the make command. In any case I've found the problem.
