Re: wireless trainer system

Manu, nice. I did a similar application only using a flysky 6 channel rx. Powered by a small lipo. I did not package it neatly like you did. When I used it in the field I found that the movement of the servos was not as smooth as when a "hardwire" was used. I played with the modulation settings in t...

Re: er9x installed by a magazine author... great article.

The authors name is Stuart Bradley. He wrote it for RC soaring magazine. Really good article. Now we just need a way to get it out to new, and unbiased rc flyers.!

Re: Sticky T-Cut Throttle

Trainer is just a momentary. So the controller chip only acts on its real time position... either open or shorted. I think this would be tricky.

Are you out of switches? whats the specific application, this might help the experts to come up with a happy medium!

No need for apology. You can figure out how to make more money, and play with more toys---but you cant MAKE more time. Enjoy them while they are young. 19 and 21 mine are. College is pricey, empty nest is strange!

Re: Youtube Videos

Oh hi rob, I didnt know it was site specific. Again no biggie, but, vimeo IMO is better than youtube because of processing. At least for HD files, vim downgrades less. That 2nd test was me just trying to put it in the url brackets, but I guess since its not set up for vimeo, it doesnt matter, anyway...

If they keep it up, just remove that pink quote button in the upper right of the post frame!!! This will force them to copy and paste, which is way too much work for the quote button clickers.!!!

If the post you are replying to is the preceeding post (last in the list) there is really no reason to quote the entire previous post. Doing this will keep the content much cleaner and easier to read as no duplicate text will be shown. Here Here.... well said! sorry couldnt resist.! LOL c'mon now.....

The are all exactly the same radio - just a different badge on the front! Well, with the exception of one physical difference that should be noted. For some reason, alot of the flysky branded radios come with the 2.4 antenna mounted on the back of the module. REcently however, the flysky picture at...

keep up that clean up idea, because it is already starting to get out of hand. I started to contribute to the mess, then I caught myself. I don't know how to move what I posted.

(question of basic mods, and I replied with an example first instead of first saying "that goes in the mod section")

Actually, I would think most of the stuff you refer to would be best put in the "MODS" section. Most of what I think you are refering to is on the google home page.

Unread posts link

Is it possible to include "view unread posts" selection in either the jump to drop down on the lower right, or put it next to "back to x" next to the existing "back to index"

Thanks

email notifications of posts

Is there a way to eliminate the email notifications of new posts? I don't see the point of email notify for my use since the content of the new post or reply is not in the email itself.

Thanks

Papa Laz, Sorry no alarm or harm was intended. On the RCGROUPS forum you have that right under your screen name. Automatically goes there when you put it on your profile page info. When you said that your receiver is already in the plane, you know of coursed that doesnt really matter. If its a flysk...
