Hi bonnicij,
OK then we know it's not the retracts the problem.
Continue like this one piece at the time until you identify the culprit.
Go backwards from retracts to up the hill to the Tx, including cables, connections, grounds, V+ , receiver, etc etc.
Don't jump anything and you'll find it.

Re: Help with retract setup on x9d plus radio
Hi,
You need to isolate the problem first.
Just replace your retracts by a servo with a horn and see what happens.
If a known good servo does not work, then you'll know the problem is not your retracts.
Go step by step, including changing wires if necessary.

Re: Radio setup: lost of time
Hi all,
My taranis RTC date and time problem was immediately fixed then I changed the battery. My Taranis had 5 years.
Kilrah is right, some batteries are cheaper than others and are worse, not up to their 100% capacity at shipment so the problems may occur at any time.

Re: Lua syntak error
Thank you again rdeancherch.
Where can I find a list and the description of parameters of allowable lua functions for Taranis?
That would help me greatly. I looked around and found no place where functions are listed with their parameters description (for the Taranis).

Re: Lua syntak error
Thanks rdeanchurch,
Yes I I forgot the wrappers, they were not there.
Do I absolutely need an init and run functions? Like the main() in C language?
How do I show something of the LCD? Let's say I want to print Rudder = 76 and see the result on my screen?
Thanks,
RTG

Bind two Taranis to one receiver
Hi all,
Happy new year!
I there a way to bind two taranis TX to the same receiver RX? If so, what is the procedure?
I have two Taranis, would be nice if I could use them both without having to rebind each Rx aircraft every time.

Re: Free RC simulator
PicoSim works well, I just tried it. Near to RC reality.
I also find out that the rudder on Taranis must me mapped at CH6 for simulators.
That allowed me to also use GEO-FS which never worked before I discover C^H6 on rudder.
Thank you jtaylor.

Free RC simulator
Hi,
Can anyone suggest a good free RC simulator other than FMS?
A truly free simulator, not demo or trial version.
Something we can use with the Taranis Joystick mode.
Thanks

Hi, To continue on this subject of USB mode, what do theses options do? 1- ask to connect. I can imagine the answer to this one but I have never tried it. 2- Joystick. Yes Kilrah, you are surely right about that. The only think that bugs me is that when the Tx is close by to X type receivers (not D types), we have this annoying telemetry lost/telemetry recovered. I understand this is caused by a very strong signal that probably saturates the RF link but neverthele...

Re: Copy model from Taranis to taranis X7
Yes of course all firmware are not compatible on any of the Taranis.
But for models and consequently EEPROM:
1- Taranis and Taranis + are compatible
2- X7 not compatible with taranis and taranis +.
Horus and X10 not compatible.

Re: Copy model from Taranis to taranis X7
Hi
An easy question for Taranis experts.
Are the model files of the Taranis 100% compatible with the Taranis plus? Except for haptic of course.
Do they need a conversion? Can we simply use them as is in either radio?
Thanks

Re: Taranis X9D plus humming noise
Thanks Kilrah,
This problem is probably caused by RF crosstalk on the cables harnesses inside the Taranis.
I have to change my joysticks anyway so I will add a small ferrite or two to the culprit cables.
Or simply move a cable just a little bit inside will at least diminish the noise.

Re: Copy model from Taranis to taranis X7
Thanks Kilrah,
I'm not sure if step 9 is necessary.
After step 8 write to X7 in model location on SD card, will that automatically save it in the EEP file?
I'm not sure what is the relationship between EEP file and the SD card.

Copy model from Taranis to taranis X7
Hi,
I need an advice.
What is the best and fastest way to copy a model from a Taranis to a Taranis X7?
Can we simply copy the model file from one SD card the other SD card?
I want to avoid to write all the pages one by one.
Thx
