Re: Receiver Firmware

If you just want to be able to use your old receivers on your new transmitter you can download and install openTX firmware without checking EU option and you should be able to bind them in D8 mode on the new transmitter. The other modes will still be EU-LBT, it just gives you D8 mode also.

rxbt is the receiver battery, not the transmitter battery. In your case probably the BEC voltage so 5.2 was probably correct.

Re: OpenTX Companion simulator - no voltage readings

https://github.com/opentx/opentx specifically https://github.com/opentx/opentx/blob/2.2/companion/src/simulation/telemetrysimu.cpp I could submit a one line change to add colToFuncMap.insert("Cels(V)", CELS_GRE); to make it work the same way as editing the header does if it would be useful. Don't th...

Re: OpenTX Companion simulator - no voltage readings

Yes, but looking at the code it looks like the intent was to have log replay display the total cels value in the Cel1 position: case CELS_GRE: ui->cell1->setValue(columnData[info.dataIndex].toDouble()); However it is looking for Cels(gRe) in the log header instead of Cels(V): colToFuncMap.insert("Ce...

Re: OpenTX Companion simulator - no voltage readings

The list of sensors in the telemetry simulator are not dynamically generated, meaning they are hard coded and not created from what is on the radio or in the log file. So since Vmin is not one of the provided simulated sensors you will not be able to simulate it or see it on log replay. Cels not upd...

Re: Time in log file

The time format looks good to me (see my screen shot of your log). You have many invalid records. Everything after 10:29:39.910 is invalid. Did you change something with telemetry or sensor logging during that session? The log becomes invalid if the number of logged items changes during a log period...

Re: Time in log file

My openTX 2.2.1 X9D logs the same time of day as shown on the transmitter with the exception of adding decimal seconds in the format HH:MM:SS.SSS (15:26:18.090). I think Adjust RTC is only used if you have a GPS and want to set/correct the RTC using GPS time in which case the time zone is needed to ...

Re: Radio Menu only has 9 pages instead of 13 (and do Display page)

Strange. Have you updated the bootloader on the one with only 9 pages? If not I would update the bootloader to 2.2.1 and flash the firmware again. If that doesn't work I don't know.

Re: Radio Menu only has 9 pages instead of 13 (and do Display page)

Have you checked the version on the transmitter to make sure it actually flashed? Long press menu and page forward a couple of pages. Frsky put a bad bootloader on some 2.1.6 systems. If it didn't flash use copy to SD or power off methods.

I hope this is a good place for these questions. I am running a Taranis X9D Opentx-x9d 2.2.0 (85863358) I am using a Banggood Multiprotocol Module (stm32). I am working to add the Corona V1 receivers to the Module. When I select protocol PPM I see two timing numbers. The first is the PPM stream cyc...

Re: Taranis X9D (original one). Cant get into bootloader.

The bootloader wasn't added until openTX 2.0 so your Taranis won't have it. You will need to upgrade using the power off methoid using Zadig (if you are using Windows) https://github.com/opentx/opentx/wiki/Taranis-Bootloaders . It sounds like you don't really have any models that will need converted...

Re: Difference between mac and windows companion 2.2

I don't know the key sequence on the Mac, but on Windows you can turn off the toolbar with alt-t or unchecking it from the "View" menu and turn the menu bar on and off with Alt-m. Perhaps somebody with a Mac will know the equivalent to alt-m to turn the menu bar back on.

I have created issue 5090 https://github.com/opentx/opentx/issues/5090 on github for the problem I see. @rcyoda I don't have enough information about you problem to know if my proposed fix will correct your problem or not, but you can take a look at it and see what you think.

Re: OpenTX Companion simulator - no voltage readings

Are you using the simulator form within Companion or the standalone simulator? How are you creating the sensors, meaning are they sensors that were created by the radio or are you using the telemetry simulator to create them? I'm guessing you are using the telemetry simulator to create the sensors b...

How are you doing the disarm? If you are using "override channel" use a replace mix of MAX weight (-100) in your throttle channel instead.

Did you download firmware again after you unchecked massstorage? That checkbox determines what option in in the firmware you download, not what option you flash. Uncheck massstorage Go to File-Download and download firmware - make sure there is no "massstorage" in the firmware name. Flash the firmwa...

Re: how may I change the default switch position to be -100 low on a taranis x7 to emulate a DX5e SAFE BNF RX

I'm a little confused by your question. There is no default when a switch is used as a switch (as opposed to a source). When used as a source SG↑ (up) is -100, SG- (Mid) is 0 and SG↓ (down) is 100. When used as a switch you use SG↑ SG- or SG↓ . In your case where you have 70 Rud E20 SG you would use...

Did you do the radio calibration? And if so did you center the slider before you started? I would run calibration again and make sure the sliders and pots are centered when it tells you at the beginning.

Use two SF's for the audio

SF1 L1 Play Tarck ledon.wav "play once - not during startup"
SF2 !L1 Play Track ledoff.wav play once - not during startup

It's not the QX7 that has the restriction, it is the 2.2 firmware and affects all radios. The length was reduced to gain eeprom space for additional functionality such as 32 more logical switches.

L2 AND SC↓ SH↓
L3 Sticky L1 L2

Mixer:
CH05 Name Ign
Source L3
Weight 100
No Trim
Don't assign a switch

Edit: See you got it on your own while I was typing. Great.

Maybe rename filter to average in future releases? Avrg5? Why? Its purpose is to filter out jitters so filter seems appropriate. It's a rolling average, so calling it average might make people think it is the actual average (like min or max). And you don't want to use something like Avrg5 because t...
