I think Helle wants the offset parameter to be available in the Inputs section.

Re: OpenTX 2.0.0

@Kilrah,
Could it be possible to show the bootloader version number in the VERSION screen on the radio ?
It would help to clear some doubts.

Re: Varios locking

Steve,
I'm talking about the internal RF module (XJT) firmware of the Taranis, not OpenTX, and anyways, it's better to have the latest module and receiver firmware.

I recommend you make these updates and check if the problem persists.

Hi,

Do you have updated the internal Taranis XJT and the X8R to the last firmware available from FrSky website ?

I would love to see a picture of what is under the wraps of the PCB antennas. IMO whatever it may be it will more than likely be no better than a sleeve dipole. Laws of physics come into play here. :) Here you go : http://fpvlab.com/forums/showthread.php?2814-Antenna-change-on-FrSky-rx&p=319091&vie...

Re: OpenTX 2.0.0

RUD is the direct stick value and [ix]RUD is the input value as set in the Inputs menu. Ok. I think I've wrapped my mind around this. So RUD will give you no expo and no weights --- just exactly what the rudder stick is reporting. [ix]RUD will give that input with all of the various weights, switch...

Re: Troubleshooting with Flight Mode UP/DOWN Slow parameter

Hi,

I think there is perhaps a bug somewhere.
I've simplified Zebaloo eepe and reproduced the strange behavior.
It seems to be an interaction between flight modes and mixes delays.
See the eepe below.

Re: OpenTX - Nightly builds for pre-2.0 testing

I don't have a dog in this fight and probably should keep my big mouth shut -- but it seems to me that using the name FIRMWARE would be wise and also grammatically correct. If there were a variety of different firmware (receivers, sensors, etc) then the plural would be correct, but if all assets in...

Hi,

Just go to the Radio Setup menu (long press menu) -> page 4/8 Version and you will see what firmware is installed.

In Fr, the same text "Tonalité au zéro" is displayed twice (once for the first parame...

Re: Using my own .bmps

Hi, I have used the settings I described above but I think I also found the problem you had. The image must have 16 colors, no more, no less, after being converted in indexed mode. You can check that with Image/Image properties in the menu. If the image got less than 16 colors, Gimp will adjust the ...

Re: Using my own .bmps

Hi,

You can draw and save 4bit images with Gimp:
In the Image menu choose Mode / Indexed... then generate optimum palette with 16 colors and save file in .bmp format with the File/Export... command.
Gimp will automatically save in .bmp 4bit format. ;)

Re: Companion User Interface testings

Hi, Thanks for your comments ! At first, I tried a more horizontal layout but I found the successive "label+input field" really difficult to read on the same line, that's why I choose to make some kind of vertical blocks. Indeed, tall panels could be a problem on little screens so why not a scrollba...

Hi,

No problem here to compile with Ubuntu 64bit.
I've followed these instructions to install the ARM toolchain : https://launchpad.net/~terry.guo/+archi ... m-embedded

@adilsongoliveira,
I'm doing exactly what is explained in the wiki to build Companion and it works.

Thanks Bertrand !

I'd like to do that but I'm afraid not having the skills... I've just played with QT Creator.

Perhaps with some (lot) help.

And I have other ideas for the UI but it will take me more time to show.

Hi, I didn't like the UI look on my XP machine so I've been trying some graphical ideas with QT Style Sheets and I think it could be interesting. Bin size varies (considerably) with the version and even build/system of compiler used, take a look at this comment https://github.com/opentx/opentx/pull/830#issuecomment-38349682 Yes, I knew that the build size could be different depending on the compiler, that's why I wanted to make a direct comp...
