Re: Radio dead after updating.

Hi Mike, I have read your "clicl" tip months ago and I am doing it since then, its a great idea.

In the radio just one of the mounts is bad, but look what an awesome solution I found:

Re: Radio dead after updating.

Hi Mike, thanks for your fast answer as always. I have opened the radio and cleaned the pads, but still did not work. Then I checked all the connectors and then switched the radio On again, and suddenly, it started working, so it seems you were right and something was a bit loose inside. It happened...

Radio dead after updating.

Hello! Today I updated my 9xtreme to ersky9xProvR222b4, and after flashing the radio with eepesky as always (using revision P423, may 24 2018) and when I turn the radio on, the screen does two blinks in red, one in blue, and then the screen stays in green... The thing is the radio just stays in colo...

Re: Flashing light from radio?

No tutorial, but there is a document describing the script language, see: http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=10325 . I'll see if I can create a script as a starting point. Mike Well, I took a look to the script, and for an ignorant like me, it looks impossible, lol. If you manage to ...

One way would be to write a script. On ersky9x you may use a logical switch as the source of a mix, and you may also set the logical switch value from a script. Using those features, you may easily program a sequence of channel outputs.

Mike
Is any tutorial out there of how to do it?

Flashing light from radio?

Hi guys. I have seen this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99IMR3wdFb4 And I wonder if it would be possible to do it with the radio. Yup, I know I need an electronic switch plugged to the receiver, but do you know if it would be possible to switch it on and off like that, just pressing a momentary p...

Hi Mike, 9xtreme with ersky9xProvR222a4, bootloader 2.9 and I have the run app window on screen... But where do I put the app? Do I have to create a folder or something? I guess the app I have to put in the radio is the FlashMulti_atmel.app right? I've just posted the "FlashMulti" app for the 9Xtre...

As promised I did two small videos, but this is one of those things that are cristal clear when you do it, and not so when you see it. Re: Realistic driving in land vehicles.

Use the subtrim. Select channel 2. at top of the "LImits" screen you will see the selected channel value in micro seconds. Increase the subtrim until it reads 1525, simple :) The dead band is normal. Remember that normally you would be using the stick at it's middle position. Without the dead band,...

Re: Realistic driving in land vehicles.

Hmm, it looks like the electronics might be a bit offset and don't expect the zero to be zero.. if the electronics were designed for Futaba radios for example, the center point is not 1500uS (micro seconds) anymore, but around 1520uS. Try playing with the Sub-Trim value on the Thr channel in the "M...

Re: Realistic driving in land vehicles.

I did the first test video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3XmzEvtqgY So far it is working, but the sticks seems to have quite a big dead area. Re: Realistic driving in land vehicles.

Ok news here, I took a look to the numericals, and yep, you did it perfectly. 0-34, then to 65,9 and then to 100. I think if it does not move from 0-34 is because the electronics of the tank itself, but definitely you did it correctly. The only thing needed is to fine tune them and I guess I have to...

I believe that you don't know how to configure the modes on your transmitter, and are just trying to play with the channel order to try to make things work. :( People often get confused about stick mode and channel order. they are NOT the same thing.. I found a little problem as I didn't know, or didn't remember that you had changed the GEA switch to a 3 position switch.. Ok, TRH switch increases gears, and GEA- decreases gear now. Re: Realistic driving in land vehicles.

Hi Joao, I tested it in one of the tanks. My experience so far is that it works, but it needs some polishing: When in neutral it does not move, but the tank makes a sound of being a bit rev up. When in reverse, it can drive very very fast (Id say maximum speed) When in forward, with the first gear d...

Re: Realistic driving ind land vehicles.

Hi guys, I can not test your mixes today, children sleeping around here and my tanks are very noisy, lol, but Ill try them tomorrow.
