Great, I am all eyes. If it works just tell me and I will source all the parts. If you give me the conector's name I might be able to buy it locally :)

Thanks again!

Re: What else can I upgrade in my radio?

Let's just check what you have installed. There are three serial ports available. One is the SPort in the module bay. The other two are on the expansion connector. Do you have a module installed internally using one of these for telemetry? Where is your bluetooth module connected (exactly)? Mike Ye...

Re: What else can I upgrade in my radio?

As you are using a BT module already, this is using the same port/connections as are used by the Arduino method of connecting the encoder. As I haven't completed the possible development of using the Arduino to provide both connections, you will (currently) need to connect your encoder to the 9X bo...

Hey, if that thing prevents me from soldering the microprocessor and is doable fur a guy with 0 skills like me, I will give it a try!

I might have no idea of those advanced things but I can follow a video like the tutorials that Joao did for the multiprotocol module.

Re: What else can I upgrade in my radio?

Well, after almost one year waiting for the parts, I just got the encoder. And I also have that small PCB courtesy of Andrewju. So it is about time to study in dept how to fit it. I have taken a look at that instalation video several times, but it is not 100% clear for me. So far I know I need to ge...

Re: 9Xtreme being released to the public domain (opensource)

Ok well I couldn't wait until the 7th :) so the order was just lodged. Hopefully it goes straight into production after they review it and we don't need to change anything. All going well the boards should land in Australia about the 16th of this month. Once i have them I'll post some pictures and ...

Re: What else can I upgrade in my radio?

It may, indeed, look better, but then on the main screen neither extra pot would be shown. Mike Oh I have just seen it! Well, maybe for the calibration screen you can leave those bars on every side of the sticks, and on the main screen maybe you can put the bars with 2 pixels instead of the current...

Re: What else can I upgrade in my radio?

I use a common function to display most of that screen as well as the main screen. On the main screen I only have the space in the middle for 4 pots, so a 5th one isn't displayed. I clearly added the display for the extra pots on the calibration screen, but forgot I already have one of them display...

Re: What else can I upgrade in my radio?

What I also did is, I put two more toggle switches beside the back pots and connect them with it. So, now I can use the pots like pots or adjust a rate with the pots and use the toggle switches for switching between the 2 conditions 0 and the adjusted pot value. Also two more toggle switches for ba...

Re: Fitting a 6 pos switch in a taranis QX7

That PCB includes the RF module. Any modification is likely to upset the operation so I would say it is NOT safe to modify it in any way. I've modified my QX7 to have a slider on the side (in addition to the existing pots). Maybe the 6-pos switch needs to go in the same place, see this post: https:...
