Re: Another two modules thread. 2.0

Mi idea is to install it as an internal module and use telemetry, can somebody give me some instructions or diagram? I installed 2 of them internally in my 9x radio with 9xtreme, and my 9x radio with Ar9x radio. If you follow this link you will see some photos of my installation in the ar9x radio. ...

Re: Reverse Current Protection Mod for 9xtreme

As always, thanks for your answers. I will buy it and once I receive it I will install it :) I have a lot of things to do in my radio, so far it has: 9xtreme, Four 2-pos switches replaced by 3-pos ones. One pot replaced with a 6 pos switch. The resistor for the receiver mod. Lifepo battery. And the ...

Another two modules thread. 2.0

Hi Everyone. Some time ago I opened a thread asking about installing a second module on my Flysky 9xtreme, and you guys pointed me to the multiprotocol module. Well, I have been very busy but today I went to buy it and then I discovered a new version! https://www.banggood.com/es/2_4G-CC2500-NRF24L01...

Hi mate, Im afraid I have no way to cut those metal gimbals and also are very pricey. Id stick buying your old 9xr pro gimbals, lol.

The taranis gimbals fit the 9x radio. I have them in most of my 9x radios João Sent from my thor using Tapatalk Hi Joao, is it a straight fit or do I need to sand, grind, and make new holes on the taranis gimbals? Thanks Mike, I will try as soon as the battery is charged. I was doing it pluging the 3.5mm jack to USB at the back, and doing that switches the radio on. That really surprised me a lot!

Now I will try as you say, and with the mini usb to usb wire too.

Re: Another two modules thread, lol. TH9XB - ??

Ok, good to now the range is ok. I was worried of such a short range specially because I want to place the antenna inside the radio and then I could have a shorter range than that.

So then I understand updating the module firmware is a must.

Re: Another two modules thread, lol. TH9XB - ??

The range of the Multi 4in1 module varies with the protocol. As the name suggests, the module contains the four main chips used for RC. Range varies among them. I can speak knowledgeably only about DSM2/DSMX, which has range comparable to Spektrum full range transmitters (well over 1km), and the ma...

Re: Another two modules thread, lol. TH9XB - ??

I believe the FrSky Telemetry system is the best for sensors and cost. I suggest if one is thinking of purchasing the DHT, to consider the XJT external module and installing it as an internal if needing a second transmitter module: (http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=126&t=8226). Re: Another two modules thread, lol. TH9XB - ??

You don't need a bind button with the multiprotocol module. Bind is selected in the protocol menu with the 9xtreme board.. João Wow, if with the multiprotocol board I dont need a button to bind, and I can use most kinds of receivers, then I see no reason to install a DHT frsky module in my radio......
