Re: ERSKY9X Coding

You have another (not so expensive) option. Have a look at the Ar9x board http://www.ar9x.net/ João Ahhh but you see I have one of those from the first batch. But the rev.b board was my first 'upgrade' of any sort RC related and I have a certain fondness to that one, as it effectively kin...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

It is my trusty soon to have M9 gimbals Sky9X rev.b. You now need to flash ersky9xs_rom.bin then. ersky9x_rom.bin has become too large to fit (I didn't think we would run over 256K when we first did this board, the prototype only had 128K). Currently, the only differrence in the 's' version is many...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Having an issue with the 221c5 test version (up from version 221 b6). Once flashed, the tx hangs on the bootloader ready screen and does nothing. Switching the tx off and back on results in backlight only. No go for me at the moment.

All is fine once back to b6.

Any ideas?

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Thanks João. I have setup plenty of music in .wav 16khz on my tx and that all works very well, but would still be interested in whether it would be a possibility hardware wise for Mike to be able to code it for .mp3 as it could then use much smaller files for songs. I am not sure what chip does the ...

Confirmed vario response delay has gone. Mike - reading the posts above from yourself and João, am I correct is thinking when sink tones off and model in 'level' flight, there should be a tone every 2 seconds? Re: Problems with update r220 can not trim helicopter

Had a look Mike. The TRIM only needs to be set on the actual THROTTLE control channel. Not on the additional ones in mixes linked to it (such as Chan11 etc.), otherwise it can lead to blade pitch changes.

I can adjust the template to put the trim in.
The template has 6 entries for mixes using the "Thr" stick as source, none have trim included, 3 on channel 5 and 3 on channel 11.
Does the trim need to be included on all 6?

Mike.
Good question! I will have a looksee and get back to you Mike ASAP.

The vario tests/sampler by Ele stick works superbly. I am getting wheeeps and whooops (speed of them is proportional to stick movement), and can change volume, frequency etc. as required.

Re: Problems with update r220 can not trim helicopter

. . . It looks like the HELI template sets the throttle trim as NOT included in any throttle mixes, I have no idea why as I don't fly Helis myself. Mike. Throttle trim is not that much of an issue with electric helis, but it is essential for glowplug powered ones to set the required idle speeds at ...

You have it wired up incorrectly. That video is wrong. Red and black are wrong. Re-solder as pic below for use as 'EXTERNAL' module. I do not know how it would be wired for the 9XTreme as I do not posses one, but no doubt MikeB or someone will give you that info. http://www.surrealhosting.co.uk/imag...
