I installed your patches (by the way, I assume there is a program that can apply the changes automatically ?? ) manually :P (As I don't have FRSky telemetry, I can not verify the content of the telemetry screens) Now version1 has 4 telemetry screens, one of then the custom screen. I compiled the original code as V2 with EXT=FRSKY TEMPLATES=YES HELI=YES BEEPER=SPEAKER BOOT=YES V2=YES without problems. No,I didn't try.
could try the original code as v2.
I have so many modifications in that rely on v1, so I assume, v2 wil not compile with my code.

Re: er9x development

I found a small bug in the ER9x code that I downloaded from Github on 20180101 In the telemetry screens the (single) custom screen is displayed twice and the gps data screen is missing. This is probably because the selection statements in menu.cpp have changed in the older versions: "if ( tview == 0...

I also checked the J476 capacitor and it give the 5v multimeter reading.... You should try with the capacitor removed. The problem is not a short of the capacitor but a to high capacity for the programmer ( IIRC the programmer must do a reset against the load of the capacitor. And if the capacity i...

Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting

There is a small bug in the telemetry custom panels. When you open the custom panel setup in "Model Setup" - "Telemetry" - "Custom", select the (first) input field "---" press the "right" button until you get to "CUS6". According to the definition of "ISTR_TELEM_ITEMS" in e.g. "en.h" "CUS6" is the l...

I don't know if that has anything to do with your problem, but, do you have an empty directory "skyobj" in your source directory? I know that I had problems to compile when that (empty) directory was missing Also a missing file "stamp-ersky9x.h" made me problems. I always copy it from the previous r...

So I would assume that either the radio is bricked or may be the crystal is defective.
In both cases, supplying an external clock signal could work.

Re: Turnigy 9x with Flysky TH9x main board

Check it with an Ohm-meter at the programmer (without a cable connected).
If pins 4,6,8,10 are connected to ground than it should work with pin4.
But I do really own one programmer, where only pins 8 and 10 are connected to ground.
(And it did not flash when iI had ground connected to pin 4)

I once had a similar problem, but with openTx, that the welcome message some times was played and sometimes not. Your 10pin to 6pin adapter has 4 pins named "ground". But some programmers have signals on some of these pins and not ground.
