Re: Releases, Documentation ??

In order to assess the quality of the GPS signal, it may be important to indicate the number of the satellite. Somewhere that was taken over Tmp1 or Tmp2. e.g. See 8 satellites and Fix 3 for "83". It can be seen earlier if everything is in order. That was here: https://github.com/SamuelBrucksch/diy-...

Re: Releases, Documentation ??

After I did some experiments with the OpenXsensor-GPS and my antennas Tracker today, I noticed that SAT's and Fix is not displayed.
Did I do something wrong?

Re: Releases, Documentation ??

I now flashed the 5 hours old FW.
Galt is still about 29 m (-29 m), but now Hdg appears.
Despite km h setting in config.h, kts displayed.

Re: Releases, Documentation ??

Hi, yesterday I built an openXsensor with GPS. Altitude, VSPD, and VFAs are o.k. Gps Lon, Lat also o.k. Galt shows either about 30m or jumps to about -30m. The real height is about 155m. Other GPS values are not shown. I use a Taranis Plus FW 2.17 with a D-receiver I have tried two different Ublox N...

Re: OpenXSensor SPORT Interface

T1 , VOLT1 , 1 , 1 , 0 With T1 show both receivers 125 instead of 12.5 If I use: T1 , VOLT1 , 1 , 10 , 0 The display is 12 instead of 12.5 But the speech is "degree" instead of volts! The telemetry settings on the Taranis are identical for both receivers! Unfortunately I only have little knowledge o...

Re: OpenXSensor SPORT Interface

@mstrens
with the changed line everything works on "X" receiver!
With a "D" receiver, the voltage is 10 times greater than indicated.
125 instead of 12.5
Thank you for your quick response and help !!

Re: OpenXSensor SPORT Interface

and again it is me, after several hours, failed a new sensor with the Ver. 2.3 to get it to work. I want to transfer only Alti / Vario and the Lipo voltage. No single cell! (3 or 4) With the previous software, the sensor operates in both the "X" and in "D" mode Alti / Vario works. But no Voltage! He...

Ubatt is due to the pulse load by the motor / ESC not "clean".
By "C3" the disturbances are somewhat filtered.

I have now made even a simple design for a sensor with Alti / Vario and voltage display for 3 or 4 Lipo. Re: OpenXSensor SPORT Interface

After I built several openXsensors represents for me the following question: Is it possible to build a sensor switchable for both systems, eg with a jumper? Re: OpenXSensor SPORT Interface

@ mstrens,
after many attempts, I ask again.
I have built the same device again and this time I want to run it with a D8R-II plus receiver.
Vario and altimeter is o.k. but I get no voltage output.
Maybe you can help me again.

Re: OpenTX 2.0.0

I measure a 3 cell Lipo with a voltage divider
at "A2" of a "D8R-II plus" receiver.
Why I have to set, in the telemetry settings (10/10) from my Taranis (OpenTx 2.05 and before)
"FrSky S.PORT" to be able to read the values?
And not "FrSky D"

Re: OpenXSensor SPORT Interface

I try a 4 cell lipo on S port to measure.
Can I do this without individual cells over 4 voltage divider to measure?
If so, what settings do I have to put where?
Alti / Vario and a single cell works.

Re: Open RSSI Antenna Tracker

My idea is to control pan and tilt independently. Pan, as in Bob's first version, with a continuously rotating servo. Tilt with a "180 degree" servo. One can then use cheap, strong, metal gear servos. However, the Act assumes that a wireless transmission of the video signal. Yes, I have it pinned! I...

Rob,
you have the RSSI outputs of the receiver connected directly to the Arduino?
Or with resistors and possibly with capacitors blocked?

Re: XR8 rx telemetary sensors

exactly
in the first 8 channel receivers, there was still no internal voltage divider at
A1. If you wanted to for example the 4.8 / 6 volt battery measured in a Glider, then the Grounds had to be connected
Ground is now connected via ESC/BEC.

Re: XR8 rx telemetary sensors

If we e.g. want to measure a LiPo with BEC, the Grounds should be separated! Otherwise, we have the same game as in the simple voltage dividers. Here is a simple, one-sided, onelayer, homemade version with balancer plug. With pre-programmed ATtiny. http://www.ebay.de/itm/350903644351?ssPageName=STRK...
