Re: ERSKY9x Rev. B1 User Area

Probably something I've missed in the menu! I flashed R38, all is well, except on switch off it says "SHUTTING DOWN" forever. Is it something to do with the Default Sw TRE012AG setting I wonder? Thanks chaps, you're on to a winner here I'm sure! :D P.S. Being thick, what is the purpose of ...

Re: ERSKY9x Rev. B1 User Area

I'm guessing here, but I would think all the 2.4g transmitter chips are 3.3v like the spektrum ones?
If so, 3.3v "headroom" for the module's regulator should be more than enough.

Re: DSM2 work DM9 or DX4e module?

A couple of things spring to mind (well lurch into mind actually!) By fitting a module from a DX4E into a 9x (or in a plug in module case) you will get model match, 6 channels and DX7 latency. Oh, and DSMx as well as a bonus! Oh, and you can bind and range check without fiddling with the DM9 button....

Re: ERSKY9x Questions

Looks great Leo!
Now where can I can I get the fancy LCD to go with it?
Neither Digikey or Mouser has them (15 weeks delivery!)
It would be nice to do the whole upgrade at the same time,
but I guess the LCD will have to wait for now :(

Re: PXX work

As far as I can see, there is no difference at all in performance switching between PXX and PPM with my servos at least. As Mike said it's a pity they didn't make the non telemetry option with this firmware, but I guess it shouldn't be too hard for them to implement it? Apart from that, PXX seems pe...

Re: PXX work

Not sure whether this helps or not, but I've been trying all the versions of standard frsky roms. I found the only pair that give failsafe from the transmitter are these ones:- Module- V2_host_romb_build-100826.frk and the receiver- V2.fdd_rx_build_100826.frk There is a downside however.. Re: New features provided by open9x

I was thinking in terms of the fact that I have added various features to er9x, which have, not surprisingly appeared in open9x, but I'm personally not receiving any acknowledgement. I need to add me to some of er9x files, I'm in on ersky9x files. It would just be nice since I added things like PPM...

Re: New Features Wish List

I think it would be brilliant to have an option in the firmware to enable the ppm output to be selected on a model by model basis. So.. DSM. Select PPM2 Frsky. Select PPM1 etc probably best that it is an option to allow PPM1 or PPM2 or BOTH Rob Not sure I understand that Rob, can't we do that now? ...

I've just received my latest FlySky Tx from Giantcod. It has what we call a V1 main board in it, i.e. the pad for programming is on the wrong connection. I'm beginning to wonder if this is a deliberate policy by the original manufacturer, to make it more difficult to re-flash to other firmware :sho...

Re: DSM2 work

3 amps! Should be enough :o Only other thing I can think of is the input to the module. I used Pat's circuit, post 13821 (on the other board) except I used 10k pullup and schottky diode. Didn't fancy the led idea. This works fine with the little lp4 and the dx4e dsmx modules with my ar8000x, only si...

The ar 9000's work for all the 6 channels, it's just channel 1 get's thrashed by 4.
Silly question I know, but do you have a solid 3.3v to the module? How are you driving it?

Leo, I guess like me you have six channels like I have with my AR8000x on your AR9000?

Not a fault in the software, but a limitation in the DX4e module in my case I think.
