Doesn't make sense to use + and - for aileron, since 99% of the time they are mirror images, so both servos have to rotate in the same direction.

I would suggest delaying 2.0 until all previously available features can be implemented. It will be viewed as going backwards, unless those features are available.

I also tried setting it on the Taranis, got blocked from changing it, then read the eeprom to C9x, reset it, and reuploaded the eeprom. Worked fine.

You have to update, using C9x, to the very latest firmware (r2604) released just a couple of days ago to get the contrast adjustment. It's on the Radio Setup screen.

I don't know. I'm not the original poster on that forum. I think it is probably just a camera issue from left to right, but I don't know for sure.
