I think I found the problem for those having similar challenges - I had mixed the down Elevator with Thr and Flaps in the Inputs page. When I deleted those mixes in the Inputs page and set them up in the Mix page, all went well.
Hope that helps some one else,

Help with eepe file please
Hello All, I thought I was getting fairly proficient at basic model set up but... Attached is an eepe for my Fun Cub. In addition to 2 Ail, 1 Elev, Thr, 1 Rud and 2 Flap Servos on a Y cord) servo operation with high and low rates, I added a mix for some slight down elevator with increasing throttle,...

Sweet!
Thank you all very much,
Even copying and pasting one function at a time is much quicker than setting each line up from scratch.
Thanks,
Doc

Can we copy Special Functions in Companion?
Hi All, I searched quite a bit but was not able to find any info on this. In Companion I assigned several voice tracks and other tasks to numerous switches under the Special Functions tab. Since many models will use a lot of similar switch functions, it would be a big time saver to set up one templa...

Hi All, Trying to getting access to the Amber Pack files while setting up models on Companion. I got them installed and working fine on my Taranis Plus running 2.1.9. Re: Taranis Plus 2.1 firmware upgrade fail - any thoughts?
Thank you Kilrah,
I did as you described.
I thought all was good until I saw Tx still shows 2.0.20 after restarting.
Below are photos of each step I did. I'm sure I'm pulling from the wrong file somehow.
Can anyone see my mistake?
Thanks All,
Doc

Taranis Plus 2.1 firmware upgrade fail - any thoughts?
Hello All, Was able to update from 2.0.17 to 2.0.20. I read thru instructions on RC Groups and OpenTXU for Taranis Plus 2.1 firmware upgrade. Followed Painless 360's video step by step. Have a windows 7 laptop. Open Companion for 2.1, Tx off, plug in USB, click on "write firmware to radio. I ge...

Thanks kalle123! Yes, I do search and read a lot and watch a lot of Painless 360's and other's videos. I'm sure the answers are all out there...somewhere. As I'm sure you know, for me as a newbie, figuring it all out and where the answers are takes a while. That's why I thought the forums were for h...

Re: Please help - computer/Companion won't talk to Taranis Plus
Sorry to offend, KH. It's just very frustrating when you think you're following the steps properly and can't get the TX to connect so you can use it. Just thought folks on the forum may know how to get it working, not just sell it. If I'm posting in the wrong forum, just let me know. Here's what it ...

Hi Kilrah, I checked as you prescribed, dfu-util.exe was listed in settings window. When I clicked "write firmware to radio, same error message appears. Now what? Can't the Open TX programmers make it so this stupid radio will connect to a computer without having to launch a moon mission?! Any ...

Re: I somehow delete ailerons and cant get them back
Thanks, Bob, for pointing me to open-txu.org. Somehow I managed to put ailerons on the elevator channel so the "Ail" was no longer visible on my "Inputs" screen. I've since learned one can delete, create and move items on the "Input" screen. I was able to create a new I...

I somehow delete ailerons and cant get them back
HiGuys, The problem began when using a DMS module - the aileron and elevator channels are swapped at the receiver servo plugs. I was trying to figure out how tho change the output on the TX rather than plug the elevator servo in the aileron and the aileron servo into the elevator on the RX. Well, I ...

Tx vibrates when rudder stick comes back to center
Hi All,
I'm new to the Taranis Plus (v2.0.17). I haven't flown a plane with it yet. I'm practicing and learning how to set up programming. Why does the Tx vibrate every time the rudder stick comes back to center position? Other stick movements don't do this.
How do I stop this?
Thanks,
Doc

I must give credit to PilotPete2 from RC Groups who told me why the TM-10 module WON'T bind but why the TM-7, and TM-8 modules WILL bin...

Hi Kilrah, Thanks for your reply. The Futaba module does not have any LEDs on it. The Flytron board plugs into the module slot in the Taranis then the Futaba module plugs into the Flyton board. I set the Taranis External module programming to PPM. I tried setting the PPM frame to either - or +. I tr...

Futaba FASST Module in Taranis - Help-No Bind
If someone could help, would be great.
