ER9x and multiprotocol problems - solved

It took a while and a few experiments, but I've cracked it now. I went back to a standalone flysky receiver with a few servos attached That showed that the flysky protocol was OK. It took some fiddling with other transmitters I have, but I tracked down the problem to my indoor model requiring the au...

Re: ER9x and multiprotocol problems

Hi Mike, Thanks for the quick reply and info. I didn't realise ER9X had moved. I've downloaded it and am back where I was last night. DSM2 works and the CX10 works, but still having trouble with getting the Flysky option to bind. There are so many options that it takes a while to get through them al...

ER9x and multiprotocol problems

I'm running the latest version of ER9X (ER9X Pr820) - at least I downloaded it yesterday - and have just complied and updated the multiprotocol firmware - after a fight with windows 10 and USBASP - and I have some questions about the options available in the ER9X multiprotocol menu. Initially the mo...

Re: Model Setup Help?

Hello nmyron, I just got myself a nano CPS and I have read and reread this thread and can't quite get it all to work. it's close, but without the panic mode setup. I have nothing on channel 5 and it works OK, except for the panic switch. I tried putting the flight mode switch on the gear channel (Ch...

Strange Behaviour with 9X

I have a strange problem with my 9x. If it has been off for a long time it starts without a problem. However, it I turn it off and on quickly - for instance when a bind failed and I need to rebind (say 10 sec - 1 min) - it often doesn't start. I just get no display and no control or beeps. It doesn'...

Re: Flysky Th9X Open TX and DSM2 Problems

Kilrah,

You nailed it. I had DSM selected in the model, but not in the firmware. Module now working, I just have to program the MCPx into it.

many Thanks Ian

Flysky Th9X Open TX and DSM2 Problems

Hello, I have just built a DSM2 module using a Corona case and a DX4e module and I'm having some strange radio problems getting it to work. I have flashed the radio with the latest version on openTX using Open TX companion (2.0.13) and I can't seem to access the DSM2 protocol menu. On the second mod...

Re: "Flip" button on Syma X1/WLToys v949

I have the RC Perkins Twister, which I belive is just a rebadged 949. I have sucessfully bound it to my 9X and can get it to flip very easily. They key is to go to 100% travel on that channel. If you limit to o/p to 80% say then it will not flip. I would say have the o/p limited to 80-90% and then h...
