Re: x9e and d8 mode

Problem solved.
I wrote XJT_eu_150413.frk to the internal module and then updated OpenTX with this opentx-taranisx9e-noheli-ppmus-en-2.1.8.bin
And now I have D16, D8, LR12 on my taranis X9E

Re: x9e and d8 mode

Nope, the only mark is in noheli in Companion.
I have tried
XJT_141016.frk
XJT_eu_150122.frk
from FrSKYs homepage
None of them gives me D8

Re: x9e and d8 mode

I have read a lot about this subject, EU and non-EU.
I have OpenTX 2.1.8 non-EU and tried some different fw for XJT-internal module, but I don't get the D8-option.
Which version of which do I need and where do I get them?

x9e and d8 mode

I have some V8-receivers and want to bind them to my x9e transmitter.
I cannot select D8, have only D16 and LR12.
How do I get the D8-mode, is it possible on x9e?

Logic switches

I want to set L13 with down throttle and left rudder and L15 with down throttle and right rudder.
I can set them the first time but I can't get them to switch off.
Only L13 or L15 must be set at the same time.

Taranis PLUS: Adding a threeway-switch on pot 3

FrSKY Taranis PLUS

Is it possible to add a threeway-switch instead of a pot or the 6-way on pot 3?'
Must there be some resistors or just wire it in?

Re: Sending different pulses with a switch

Playing and testing with logical switches and the Timer function it now works.
And I also learned a lot other things about making the different switches to do special things.

It is getting better and better :-)

Sending different pulses with a switch

I have a Beier USM-RC-16 soundand light module which have a EKMFA mode where it takes pulses to control a feature. Example: I have to flip the switch 3 times forward and one function is triggered. I then flip the switch 5 times forward and another function will react. I will like it to be put on the...

Overwrite radio settings (or not to)

When I write a model from Companion (pc) to tha radio (Taranis Plus) it overwrite the radio settings. The battery low value is set back to 9,0 volt, the calibration of the sticks are lost. How do I do it without that to happen? Is there a way to write only one model to the radio? Say I have a model ...

Some S-BUS issues?

I have a Taranis PLUS and some X8R. I can combine them to handle 16 channels, but there are also the S.BUS. Is it the same S.BUS on FrSKY as on Corona as on Futaba and so on ? Or do I have to buy the same stuff all the time to make it talk together? Can I get more than 16 channels then using S.BUS d...

Re: Which firmware on Taranis?

I will also suggest that the backlight are on by default, at least by using the menu buttons.
It is difficult to see the text on screen without light.

Re: Which firmware on Taranis?

OK, it worked, but now the backlight switch off, so it is impossible to read the screen on the Taranis Plus now. How do I turn the backlight on again? After the flashing it came up with a warning about the EEPROM with backlight, the next screen was also with light where it formatted the EEPROM. Then...

Re: Which firmware on Taranis?

@Mike: I do as you describe. It looks like it is working, but the write is very fast, then it comes the pop-up and say it has completed. Then i unplug the USB and select Exit on the Taranis and it returns to OpenTX. I used the file ersky9x_rom. @kalle123: But then i need some other hardware, which i...

Re: Which firmware on Taranis?

I have now tried both eePeSKY and OpenTX Companion. I like Companion the most. I tried to flash a new firmware with them both, eePeSKY won't work, Companion will, so that is the coice for now. But i will soon have to flash the firmware in some X8R and for that I need ersky9 to work, so I will try wi...

Re: Which firmware on Taranis?

I have now read both manuals, for OpenTX and ER9X. I think it is hard to see the difference, things are not always named the same, but it seems that the settings on OpenTX Servo page are the same as on ER9X Limits and so on. So I'm still confused about which one to choose. I like that the OpenTX man...

Which firmware on Taranis?

Sorry if this is a common question, but what is the difference between OpenTX and Ersky9? I am new to using Taranis and Open RC, I am not flying but driving with RC-trucks and machines. I need a lot of mixes and to switch the sticks and contacts to other functions on the same model. Which firmware w...

Re: Taranis binding internal module to X8R and X6R receivers

I just read about it somewhere else and tryed with D8 and that works. But that is not good enough because I want to use more than 8 channels and I want to use the numbers of the receivers, so I can leave one model with power on while driving with another. So now I have to figure out if I can update ...

Re: Taranis binding internal module to X8R and X6R receivers

Hi all I just got my new Taranis with a X8R receiver. Used the Bind-procedure and it works all fine. I have 2 extra receivers, also X8R and added a new model, found the page in the menu, it was assigned receiver no. 02, so I just tried to Bind it. Nothing happens. I hold down the F/S buuton and the ...

The stock Turnigy 9X, but it is not important, I will try the Taranis and also with openTX.
The important issue was that with the models and so I will order an extra X8R and try it out.

Using Taranis PLUS with more models

I am not a flyer, I am using RC with trucks and machines on the ground. I am looking for a radio where I can leave one model and switch to another without switching the first one off. That is handy then driving a lorry to a loading area and then switching to a wheelloader or other machines. Is this ...
