If you flash the -bl version of the image it contains both bootloader and openlrsng. Notably the included boitloader is optiboot so fuses should be set according to that. Thanks. First I had no ftdi so I use USBASP to upload the latest firmware to tx & rx If you flashed the openLRSng hex file using an usbasp you'll have wiped the arduino bootloader off the board. Your hardware might have a problem causing the PC's TX signal never to arrive to the module's processor. Don't know what else could cause that. Better check all solder joints and connectors.
