Re: FlySky Protocol and ER9X in 9XR transmitter

I have the same equipment, ER9X, on aT9X, Flysky RX: I can fly my Radian glider high enough to almost strain my eyes, never a problem with range. However, just to be safe, I always mount the Rx antenna outside the body of the fuse. Looks like a little red muffler, kinda cool. I once did a side by si...

eepskye>arduino or bluetooth>Tx>Plane for testing new setups

I like what jhsa has been testing, and directly testing from eepskye and seeing the actual servo movements in 'real-time'. Keep improving the Wizard

Improving the Wizard, has some merit, but .... Sounds like a good candidate to be a "memory hog", and endless "scope creep". Also, getting a wizard to make modifications to an existing model, can get really complex. In the end, you'll have to get down and dirty and make the chang...

Include a Tutorial/library CD with the Taranis

What would help a lot of new guys to this product, would be a CD or DVD that comes with the Taranis, that contains all the possible Templates, Pdf files of all user manuals, videos, ie. all the stuff which would help new users.

You should really remove the battery and charger it with a proper Lipo battery charger. Even one of those 5 dollar Lipo chargers from HK would be fine.

For the first time I saw, held a 9XR this afternoon!! Honestly it looked great! Way better than in the pictures. in the sunshine the LCD was VERY sharp. Over all it felt very professional. A "Feature" not a "Bug"?!

Hmmmmm would it be possible that you discovered a nice "Feature"? 100% brightness at only a total of 2.2ma, sound's like efficient power usage to me = improved Tx battery flight time. As a pro software tester for 15 years, I would say you definitely did good by noticing this and bringing i...

Re: ON TOPIC : Android GUI...?

Yes! All that fancy stuff doesn't have to be in the TX! The OpenTx Model Wizard for example, or the Model Wizard in CompanionTX (aren't they the same??). The Lua Scripting overhead is a real memory Hog on the TX. But for which Table? Ipad? Android? or now Windows8? Would be nice if there as a decent...

Re: At this point should I wait for the Taranis Plus ?

From what I'm reading, it sound like the Taranis Plus is worth waiting for, since I'm not in an extreme rush. Sounds like, compared to the 9XR-Pro, JR shape style and feel, the Taranis quad bearing Gimbals, wider screen, openTx2.0 with the Model Wizard... and compared to the Taranis vers. A., better...
