Re: X9D + (X8R + Converter VS D4R II)
I am a complete noob. But I do own both and just setting both for testing. Sbus cppm aside, Major difference is the number of channels. With the new firmware flashed I think d4r2 will give you 6 channels (someone correct me) whereas x8r can do 16. That's 10 more. In addition, the 16 can be a combina...

Re: My Taranis Spektrum module
Got the spare board from busted. Just got done building. I made the opposite mistake and ordered 47k resistor as oppose to 4.7. After locating a 4.7k one I was able to get going. Still working on soldering skills but looks ok. I had to also flash firmware to above 2.+ on the tx. The first bind never...

Re: My Taranis Spektrum module
@Kilrah, thank you for the explanation. I had not realise this is not just a standard ppm module replacement but a full on digital solution that is supported through software as well. I see now that none flash able tx like my futabas will not benefit from this mod. I will still do one for my taranis...

Re: My Taranis Spektrum module
I have the actual dm8 module it self. What would you need from it? I can take pictures if you like
Thanks for checking.

Re: My Taranis Spektrum module
I just meant that I know this is specific for the JR type module to fit in JR type "socket". I would like the same but will fit in a futaba type "socket". I have both JR socket type radio (taranis) as well as my trusty 8u super and 12fg. I wouldn't mind if I can update the 8u sup...

Re: My Taranis Spektrum module
Hi all, I read through this thread. I would like to try this. I will order the boards off of OSH and required bits. I also have a DM8 (futaba). Anyone know if this will also work with it? I don't mind only getting 6 channels as it is my backup of backup LOL. I can only find info on making it work wi...

Re: 9x Compatible Modules -- Spektrum
I don't quite understand what you mean. I run a DM9 in the 9x. Didn't give a 2nd thought regarding pin length. Are you saying that the OEM DM9 module does not fit the 9X well due to shorter pins? I have one in the flysky version for a year now running fine. Now, you have me worry about the connectio...

Re: Replacement 9x module?
No, looking for the module from Turnigy 9x. With the wire cut. I need the case and the stuff inside.
I don't care if it is working or not. But need to whole thing
Thanks

Re: Replacement 9x module?
Hi,
I am actually looking for a 9x module from a turnigy 9x NOT flysky or any kind with the antenna on the back... just the kind with the wire going into the TX.
I don't need to antenna just the module with the wire cut.
I hope I am making sense.
Thanks

DSM2/X in a module possible?
Ok. I feel stupid for asking this. I have read through this thread as well as the DSM one. I have been using DM9 modules with fly sky version of the 9x since early lastyear and I also would like to use frisky module. My firmware is trunk-r 434 v1.4585-erez may 08 2011 All I did was plug in the modul...
