Re: X9D - Stuttering Noise and no startup
This happened to my X9D SE. Sent it to Aloft, and they replaced the mainboard, after I tried most of the fixes listed above.

Re: Taranis XD9 Plus and DM9 Spektrum module
Mine has been working well using 9ch, 22.5, 400, negative. Currently have 4 models flying using it.

Re: Expo vs Curves?
May have to do that if there really is no one that has already found the answer..although it seems like it should be something already documented...

Expo vs Curves?
This seems obvious, but I don't want to assume...... If I use an Expo value of 60, is that the same as creating a symmetrical curve (f(x)=-f(-x)) with a coefficient of 60? And...if Expo is used on Throttle, is it still like a symmetrical curve (as I assume other channels are)...or is it like a Singl...

Re: OpenTX 2.2 Documentation for the Taranis and Horus Transmitters
Very impressive! Thank you for putting this together. It will be very handy to refer to as I build new models in my radios. I do note that the section on GVARS does not mention Name, Unit, Precision, Min or Max - what they are, and possible limitation on their use (ie - "precision" of 0.0,...

How precise is OpenTX?
So default in the Outputs screen is to define a min/max range of -100.0% to +100.0%, or in other words 2,000 "steps" of resolution seemingly being sent to the servos. If instead, one picks the "ppmus" option, defaults are -512.0 to +512.0, or 10,240 "steps" of resolutio...

STK - cannot find device
Capture.JPG Just trying it out, nominally to upgrade my x8r firmware. Driver installed fine, and was initially on com4. I changed it to com2 as part of troubleshooting. Just hangs at the "finding device" screen. Nothing plugged into the STK (not even a cord, let alone a receiver). Running...

Re: Cross trimming on Taranis
I opened this on github awhile back, also. It got canceled after languishing for a long time. The responder claimed there was not seen as an issue worth addressing, due to low demand. Here's how I worked around it: In model setup: Throttle Source THR Throttle Trim Idle Only unchecked For the Throt i...

Re: Vario not working in flight
Took it out for some flying/testing yesterday. After one flight, deleted all telemetry sensors and re-discovered, then checked other settings. Yes, after comparing old eepe to new, I did have "Alt" as vario source previously. With "Vspd" chosen, it behaved as expected. So probabl...

Re: Vario not working in flight
I assume so, since it works correctly just before launch - ie - as I raise and lower it I can hear the pitch change as expected. But after launch, at distance and altitude - no variation in tones, ever.

Vario not working in flight
Some unexpected behavior. Original Taranis, Opentx 2.1.8, X4R receiver, HP Vario. Currently using defaults as loaded during discovery. On the ground, tones vary as I lift or lower the model. In the air, however, I only get one continuous mono-frequency beeping. No change with climb or sink. Altitude...

Re: Probs between Companion and Taranis
After some digging through threads and other documentation, I determined that I needed to also run zadig to allow STM32 to function properly. For those that may have questions on how to upgrade from 1.x versions, I downloaded zadig from http://zadig.akeo.ie/. Plug your TX into the USB, but don't tur...

Probs between Companion and Taranis
New to Taranis and OpenTX. Downloaded Companion 2.0.2 to try out connecting to radio. Was able to download and save eeprom file. However, could not upload - error on the radio about "bad eeprom data", it would reformat, and start me over at the calibration screen. Taranis is at version 1.1...
