Re: Christmas is coming
I would love to see this, I love those old radios. No question they were serious units, with that square box shape. Not a penny wasted on frivolous design things!flybabo wrote: ProLine single stick and Kraft 7C are waiting!

9xr and Taranis... do I need two different C9X programs?
If I've got a Taranis and 9xr, do I need two different copies of companion9x? This is on a mac.

mix question, MAX vs THR/Offset?
Is there a difference between
(+100%)MAX Switch(THR)
and
(+100%)THR Offset(100%)
The simple case is of course identical, but are there any subtle differences?
Could the first case always be replaced by the second case?
BTW, is there some collective term for all the switches?

A/E/T/R vs R/E/T/A
As I recall, the standard FlySky setup was Aileron/Elevator/Throttle/Rudder for channels 1-4.
I see that the standard template setup for er9x is Rudder/Elevator/Throttle/Aileron.
Am I remembering correctly? If so, is there a particular reason for the difference?
Many TIA!

Re: DO's and DONT's for the newcomer to 9x
why are you not to use the regular battery holder and why no alkaline batteries? My battery holder was a bit tight, and would actually squeeze the batteries enough so that they wouldn't touch the contacts in the holder. I used an exacto knife to trim part of the holder away so the batteries wouldn'...

Replacement 9x module?
I've bit the bullet and removed the antenna and module from my Turnigy 8x, replacing it with a FrSky.
I'm going to try to resolder the antenna, but if I'm not successful at doing this is there a replacement module I can purchase?
