Re: Blinking cursor on every screen

Perhaps 2 per model? Or is it still too much? And then perhaps some 4 global? Or 2 per model and none as global?
In my opinion, I think they are more useful in the model setup..
What about the possibility of an external eeprom? Is it worth it?

Depending on how badly you want that feature on your radio, you could try to flash Ersky9x. It does what you want. :)

Re: Blinking cursor on every screen

Oh, they are global?? Missed that part of your post.. :)
Wouldn't be more useful to add them to the mode setup? Or is there too much for the m2561 as well??

Thanks

I have built a few very small DIY Frsky D8 compatible receivers, that just output SBUS, and installed them inside my radios..

Re: Failsafe Programming

The failsafe is most of the times handled by the receiver..
The receiver enters failsafe because it lost connection with the transmitter.. So, programming failsafe on the TX is kinda useless :) ;)

Re: 9XR Pro can not active Trainer mode......

Nope, no bugs, I use all sorts of trainer options in ersky9x , including bluetooth and SBUS, and all works. If you see the trainer inputs moving in the trainer menu, it means the radio is receiving the trainer information. So it must be something with your settings. João Sent from my BLN-L21 using T...

I still hope we can just set the trim values in future though, will make it much easier.
Why don't you use a pot to set the amount of trim??

Re: Blinking cursor on every screen

No, the '128 has less spare RAM than the '64. Also, the EEPROM structure needs to be common to all three processors. Since this is loaded into RAM, any additions to the EEPROM affect all processors RAM usage. Mike Hmm, so what is the advantage of replacing the processor with a m2561?? :o :) João

Re: Blinking cursor on every screen

For information, each safety switch or voice switch only uses 2 bytes of EEPROM/RAM. A Voice Alert uses 7 bytes. If the voice switches were removed completely, and the EEPROM/RAM used for voice alerts, you would only get 2 more voice alerts. Mike That is only on the m64, right? The m128 could have ...

Re: Blinking cursor on every screen

Mike, shouldn't audio and voice only be dealt by the Voice alarms, which are in my opinion a much better implementation? I thought you had removed the audio and voice in safety switches, as it doesn't make any sense having them at all?.. :o This would even mean flash savings on the m64 version? Or i...

What I also did is, I put two more toggle switches beside the back pots and connect them with it. So, now I can use the pots like pots or adjust a rate with the pots and use the toggle switches for switching between the 2 conditions 0 and the adjusted pot value. Also two more toggle switches for ba...

Re: What else can I upgrade in my radio?

There were some specific mods to replace the stock 9x buzzer with a speaker. As far as I remember it couldn't be a direct replacement because the speaker has a very low impedance.. That information was in the wiki that unfortunately doesn't exist anymore :(

Re: Binding D8R-2 Plus Rx to QX7 Tx.

Yep.. I.wonder why you were pressing it long? Actually a long press on the receiver failsafe button (I think when radio is OFF), sets the receiver to work with digital servos only. It doesn't work very well though, as far as I have read about it. And it can damage normal analog servos. When you powe...

Re: Binding D8R-2 Plus Rx to QX7 Tx.

A receiver is bound to one transmitter at the time ONLY. Nothing to do with models.. The original D8 equipment DO NOT have model match. This means that any receiver bound to the same transmitter will listen to it at thw same time. If you have 6 receivers bound to the transmitter, turn they ON, and m...

Good that you managed to flash the radio :)

Model Setup / Protocol / select "Multi". then the protocol you need.
If you tell us what receivers you have, we could probably tell you which protocol to select.

Re: Binding D8R-2 Plus Rx to QX7 Tx.

If these D8R-2 Plus Receivers respond to QX7 transmissions without having been bound then I expect to get interference from other people's Transmitters. Then there's the problem with non-functioning Failsafe. Bind is one think, failsafe is another. It is not possible for one receiver to be bound to...

do all switches work? I mean, can you see them working on the radio when you look at the screen? Also all the directional keys and the MENU and EXIT buttons work?

Does the radio work normal, or does it appear to be working too slow?

Re: Trouble flashing er9x with eePe

Get your multimeter out and measure the resistance between the pad just above it, and the pad on the right side of it. It should measure a short (nearly zero ohms).
