Got it, thanks. I'll just have to live with not knowing what caused the lost binding.
I have moved the receiver in question to an older, cheaper model for testing over some time.

D8 Receiver binding lost.
Hi, I have a Taranis X9D (not plus). For some reason not known to me, I lost binding to one of my two D8 receivers. While digging into this, I noticed that in Companion there is no provision for Receiver Number for my models with D8 protocol. Does this mean that Receiver Number is not relevant for D...

Re: Taranis X9D Telemetry values.
Thanks, I suspected issues that I need to look into.
Please allow one more question: What/where are the numbers (224, ....) generated?
Thanks, Helge.

Taranis X9D Telemetry values.
Hi, This relates to X9D Tx and X8R Rx. opentx version 2.3.14. I have made a sensor based on Arduino Pro Mini 3.3V/8MHz, with u-blox gps and two ms5611 barometers for vario, airspeed and altitude. Code is based on telemetry library by Pawelsky, using S.Port. Things seem to work nearly ok, meaning dis...

Re: OpenTX 2.0.0
Upgrade Firmware to v2.0.0 was sucessful on my Taranis Tx. Many thanks to the team for making this possible! Something puzzles me a little: When I copy the Firmware file to the FIRMWARES directory on the SD card and Write with the Bootloader, everything seems fine. When I Write Firmware to Radio wit...

Re: OpenTX - Nightly builds for pre-2.0 testing
May be I should have understood this easier. Regretfully not, so please forgive my confusion. What is the recommended way of installing OpenTX 2.0.0 Companion? I am on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, and there seems to be an RPM file only available for download. How is this normally done? Also, once upgraded, wha...

OpenTX Compilation Options
Hi, I have successfully managed to build new firmware for my Taranis on my home PC, and uploaded it to the TX. Sources are downloaded from github master. In the "OpenTX Compilation Options" document there are more options available than those shown in Companion 9X. Apart from the obvious (...
