Sounds like you haven't fully done the self check procedure. The servos will move during this if done correctly.

Re: Writing firmware to radio only reads?

Try using eepe (for er9x) to do the writing. This has a "disable pre-read" option.
You might consider er9x anyway as I'm still supporting that and adding features.
You may find it (and eepe) here: http://www.er9x.com/.

Re: er9x-128 or e9x-frsky

Re flash your MPM with firmware that supports "MULTI_TELEMETRY" instead of "MULTI_STATUS". If downloading a pre-compiled firmware, choose the openTx version. This firmware will send to protocol names to erskyTx so you will see them again.

Re: T16 Pro button help please.

Did you just look at the cables or did you actually open the ribbon connectors and make sure they are properly seated? My T16 worked OK to start with, then later the buttons on the left started behaving oddly. While the ribbon cable looked OK I had to open the connector and remove then replace the r...

With the '128 version, you need to go into the hardware menu and tick "FrSky Mod Done". The hardware menu is protected from accidental access. To enable it, power on holding the left horizontal trim to the left.

I don't have/use a NAZA-M V2 controller. What does that controller need to "see" to set Homelock and Courselock?

Re: Problems upgrading Turnigy 9X to ER9X

While you have fitted a switch, the firmware still "thinks" it is a pot.
What should CH7 send for those three settings?
Easiest thing to do is use a curve, put the switch (pot P1) into one position and adjust the curve for the required output, then repeat for the other two positions.

Re: Problems upgrading Turnigy 9X to ER9X

P1 is still appearing as a POT. Just set the source of a mix to P1, then the mix input will be -100%, 0% and +100%.
Then either use the weight, offset and diff to set the output positions or use a curve.

Re: New beta version of openXsensor (=openXvario)

I have firmware available for FrSky D8 receivers that allows them to operate in D16 mode. This includes supporting SPort telemetry using the serial port on the D8 receiver, with the Tx and Rx signals combined using either a diode or a transistor on the Tx line. However, the positive going voltage in...

Re: Frsky x10s express

At present, you cannot use eepskye directly to transfer models to the X10. However, there is a way to get models from another radio to which eepskye does connect. Connect to the "other" radio using eepskye and read the EEPROM. For each model you wish to copy, right click on it and select "save model...

Re: Frsky x10s express

If you bind using the multi module in the X9D+, you should be able to then put it in the X10 and, as long as the Freq and RxNum are the same as the X9D+, you should then have control, worth testing.
This is odd since DSM is binding and the module works OK in the X9D+ and it works OK for me.

Re: Frsky x10s express

To prevent accidentally starting a bind, you need a LONG press of either the encoder button or the menu (SYS) button to activate it. With the multi module binding to FrSky, you may need to adjust the "Freq" value, try with -30 and +30. This is a standard "problem" with the multi modules, their cryst...

Re: ER9x and multiprotocol problems

The radio type actually just defines whether the MPM is using MULTI_STATUS or MULTI_TELEMETRY.
The "er9xProv822n" test version supports MULTI_TELEMETRY, so works with the "openTx" version of the MPM firmware.

Re: ER9x and multiprotocol problems

Wiring looks OK.
To get AFHDS2A telemetry you need "er9xProv822n" (recently posted), and the MPM needs to be flashed with non-inverted firmware (for your wiring) and also the openTx (MULTI_TELEMETRY) version.

Re: Frsky x10s express

If you have openTx flashed, then try starting in bootloader mode (horizontal trims in at power on), connect to your PC, then I think that eepskye should find the radio and let you flash the firmware. Otherwise, if you use companion, you should be able to choose the erskyTx .bin file and flash it usi...

SD card structure is the same, same sound files.
FrOS doesn't have the bootloader.
If you have openTx, then that bootloader should work with erskyTx.

I've just got PPM to the external module working, I have a DJT controlling a servo and telemetry working.

If you have the bottom pin of the module connector connected directly to the M64 (no inverter circuit), then you need the 4-in-1 module flashed with "no-inv" firmware.
