Re: eepSKYe

They seem to be OK for me. Curves 1-8 are 5-point, 9-16 are 9-point, 17 and 18 are 9-point x-y, and curve 19 is 6-point.

I'll need to investigate how to sort those dialogs, and it may take a couple of days.

I've just posted a new.exe file (just copy to your installation directory), see if this sorts the "Modes" tab please.

Good, I've got something to work on to improve these other menus. Also, there is support in QT5 for other things that is missing in QT4.

Re: eepSKYe

OK, try:
in the directory where you have this eepskye.exe, create a directory called "platforms". Then move the qwindows.dll file into this directory.
I just did this on a memory stick and then my wife could then run eepskye OK from the stick on her computer.

OK, I'll look further. Your second attempt is what I was expecting. It works for me, but I do have the full QT development installation, so there may be something I have installed with it that is needed.

Use mbtx-128, and go into the hardware directory and tick the box for "FrSky mod done". To enable the hardware directory, power on holding the left horizontal trim to the left.

Re: eepSKYe

Yes, I meant to mention that. I suggest creating a new, empty directory (possibly off your existing eepe/eepskye directory), then copy all the files from the .zip file into it.

Re: eepSKYe

I've posted a new test version of eepskye (and Interpreter) here: https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=2835 . This has been built using QTCreator version 5, and a different compiler, so may have problems, although it seems to be working OK on some quick tests I've done. Using version ...

How did you install the update program? You probably need to copy the .exe file AND all the other files in the .zip to a new directory.

They perform the same, except that the new ACCESS protocol is available for the R9Mlite. This has an improved performance.

Re: Taranis X9D Plus Binding to S6R receiver Problem

If it binds OK to a X6R that is using LBT, then the Tx module is also LBT. The version of openTx doesn't matter.
When binding the S6R, make sure you keep the button pressed for a second or so after you power it on in order to enter bind mode.
Also, try different RxNums on the Tx.

Possibly, but there is the "JR" style R9M module available anyway.

MPM lite modules are VANTAC and IRANGE IRX4 lite.

There are at least 2, "lite" versions of the multiprotocol module currently available. OK, you have to buy a new module, but it is possible.

Re: FrSky new X9 Lite with a new Access protocol

The protocol used by FrSky for the RF link has always been closed source. Any encryption being used is confined to this link. The "new" external bay has more connections available than the (now dated) "JR" module bay. This allows for improved performance. I have a T16, so I may port erskyTx to it, b...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

With the ability to run "apps" this may not be a huge problem.
It is also why I looked at using up only 4K of the spare bootloader space, leaving around 1.5K for possible bootloader upgrades.

You also don't show a ground connection to the SPort, and if both R7 and R8 are fitted, you will short out the top LIPO cell via D1.

Is the Arduino a 3.3V or a 5V board?

Re: FRSKY R9M compatibility?

There have been a number of firmware releases for both devices. The 9X is unable to update the R9M. To update the R9M from a PC you need either a STK device, a USB to SPort device or a FrUSB3 device with a SPC adapter. If you don't have one of these, you could try updating the R9mini with the possib...
