When you have changed the processor, you will need to use zadig to flash it the first time.

A STM32F205VET6 (as in your link) is the same as in your picture, so is correct.
When replacing the processor, remove all power, including the RTC battery.

Re: PARA trainer in Horus X10/S Express / OTX 2.3.1

As I'm working on supporting PARA trainer in erskyTx, I have found a FrSky radio with PARA trainer will discover a CC-41, bluetooth module (HM-10 clone), and I have managed to get a 9XR-PRO, with a CC-41, sending correct trainer data to a PARA radio that is then showing on the trainer menu. The CC-4...

What revision of firmware (er9x) are you running on your 9X?
You need to be using firmware from "er9xProv822g.zip", or later, to have R9M support.

Re: Help initializing LCD on ar9x

What do you need LUA for? erskyTx has a script language of its own that uses much less RAM than LUA does. It is also possible to upgrade the processor on the AR9X, I have done so to an AR9X board so now have 128K of RAM (instead of 64K). In theory, if you did this, openTx would support LUA, but you ...

Re: Long shot but does anyone have a 9xtreme board FS?

Of course, Jumper haven't done any firmware development on Tx modules, so haven't incurred costs for them. They haven't done any real development on the selection of hardware components (e.g. the display), while FrSky spent significant time testing displays to find one that was readable in sunlight....

Re: 9XR PRO FRSKY Telemetry

Perhaps the Pixhawk is not sending the value very often. I have a timeout on telemetry values so they don't show if they stop being received. In the Telemetry|Logging menu is a default value of 2.5 seconds for this timeout. You could try increasing this value to see if FasV stays. Also, go down the ...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

OK, this is possible. Run eepskye and load your EEPROM from your existing radio. Right click on each model and select "save model/settings". Confirm the file dialog (you might select a different directory). You may leave eepskye now. Now connect to the SD card on the T16, make sure there is a "MODEL...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

All good! The Drive E: is the SD card, the Drive F: is the actual firmware on the radio. The Drive F: should have a volume name, what is it please? As I mentioned a few posts back, the T16 doesn't have any EEPROM, so the Drive F: doesn't have an "EEPROM.bin" file on it. All the radio setup and model...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Do you know what file the bootloader is in? Or is it the one that was on the radio when you first got it? When in the bootloader, and you plug in the USB cable, do you hear the "USB device connected" tones? If so, can you tell what device is now connected? If the bootloader presents hard drives, the...

Oops, I forgot you are using a T16. This doesn't have EEPROM, everything is on the SD card. I haven't got round to updating eepskye to handle that yet.
Does the SD card show up as a drive in file explorer when using the openTx bootloader?

File transfer also works using a wired connection via COM2. COM2 is the serial port in the module bay of the Taranis, and the serial port on the Futaba connector on the 9XR-PRO.

Re: which STM32 processor in Taranis plus

Looking at the flash memory dump, the third quarter of the flash is "blank" (256K to 384K), which is consistent with your DFUse error. The .bin file I posted fitted in the first 256K so that is why it flashed OK. My conclusion is the processor flash memory is faulty. Even if you can get it working, ...

Sounds like a watchdog restart (every 2 seconds).
Please try holding the two horizontal trims inwards to see if it works in the bootloader. Also, try with the trims apart to see if it works in "maintenance mode".

The report you are getting from DFUse shows the data 256K into the flash memory doesn't seem to have flashed.
As a test, I've just put erskyTx r220 on the test versions thread. This fits in 256K, so please try flashing this with DFUse.

D8 not being legal in the UK is part of the reason it is being phased out. The V1 protocol has already been phased out. The D8 protocol is now quite old, and basically, I understand, it won't fit in Tx modules along with ACCESS and ACCST-D16. You may be interested in the firmware I've written that r...

Is there any difference between file structure or how the folders should be named on 9XR Pro and on the Taranis?
So actually can using same SD card just remove from 9XR Pro and insert to the Taranis and vica versa?
No difference, I try to keep everything a similar as possible.

The "new" module uses PCM from the radio. I believe the multi-protocol module suppor...
