Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Download "ersky9xProvR222d5.zip" from the test version thread and extract "t16_rom.bin". If you don't have eepskye installed, please install that. First off, try starting the T16 in bootloader mode (trims held inwards), run eepskye and try the "Flash firmware to Tx" button, select the t16_rom.bin fi...

Is there any difference between file structure or how the folders should be named on 9XR Pro and on the Taranis?
So actually can using same SD card just remove from 9XR Pro and insert to the Taranis and vica versa?
No difference, I try to keep everything a similar as possible.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

I've just posted a new test version. This includes support for MULTI_TELEMETRY.
I've also included versions for the X9Lite and the T16.
Support is also included for the multi module operating as a receiver for trainer purposes.

Re: Turnigy 9x help. Please help!!

The "new" module uses PCM from the radio. As I don't have one of these modules, and a compatible receiver, I haven't been able to consider trying to implement this PCM on er9x. er9x does support FrSky Tx modules, and also supports the multi-protocol module. I believe the multi-protocol module suppor...

The 4 stick inputs on the original 9X board are available for extra analog inputs, and the hardware menu supports selecting one of these for each of POT4 and POT5.

Re: Reading from radio crashes eepesky program

I don't know, but QT4 is from 2012 (see the date on the supporting .dll files) while QT5 is from 2017. I can only guess that your latest win10 doesn't like these "old" .dll files. My PC came with win10 on it, my wife's was upgraded from win7, and we do notice differencies. I'll move over to using QT...

On the first post there is a test version of eepskye built using QT5 (eepskye5.zip).
Please download this, extract into a new directory and try that please.

Re: ER9X Multi Module Support ?

Yes, the option value setting does depend on the protocol/sub-protocol selected. Some of the telemetry is supported. You do need a hardware mod to connect the telemetry signal (bottom pin of the 5-pin connector) to the processor. An inverter is optional as the multi-module supports normal and invert...

SPort telemetry at 57600 baud is only enabled if the protocol is XJT or MULTI wit sub_protocol FrSkyX.

The telemetry type and baud rate used depends on the protocol used for controlling the module. Are you using PXX (XJT)?

SPort telemetry data is INVERTED serial, you need to put an inverter in the signal between the module and the M64.

Re: ER9X Multi Module Support ?

On the '128, the option value shows as "AutoId" and "FixId". On the '64, these are 0 and 1. Have you tried both of these?
I can't think of any other reason the '64 doesn't work, if other protocols are working.

Re: ER9X Multi Module Support ?

All the protocols are supported, if they do not appear by name, you need to use the number instead, both for the protocol and the sub-type. You might like to try the latest test version from here: https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4598 . Your 9Xs probably have the original M64 proce...

If you power on holding the two horizontal trims to the centre, do you get into the bootloader? If so, what revision does it show?

Re: Anybody recieve telemetry to turniga9x er9xfrsky from qczek lrs?

er9x on a M64 doesn't support mavlink protocol, unless the ARDUPILOT version does that. I'm not sure exactly what that supports. It also looks to use a baudrate of 38400.
The M64 doesn't have enough flash memory to include mavlink.

You could try flashing "ersky9xs_rom.bin" (the "small" version for the SKY board). I think this will run well enough on the 'PRO to allow updating of the bootloader.

Looks to be fixed on the AR9X, I've committed an updated "bootflash4.lbm" file so if you build for the AR9X using that, the bootloader should be working again (V3.3).

OK, I slipped up with a change for the SKY board where I now use only 28K for the bootloader (instead of 32K), to give 4K more space for the main application. The bootloader for the AR9X uses the same, binary, code, and is supposed to work out where the application starts, but there is a small bug s...

If it flashed OK, then you should have the protocol on the 'PRO set to "MULTI", and then you start the bind from the protocol menu. Is that what you did?

Well, to consider doing this I would need a radio and receiver (not cheap), some technical information (or the schematic would need to be reverse engineered), and some time!

Before that, I need to know what processor it is using.

Re: Old hub (FSH-01) to X8r receiver

The FrSky vario sensor is designed to act as a "bridge" for this purpose. You connect the SPort of the vario to the X8R, and connect the hub output to the vario. Because that exists, I haven't done anything else for this purpose. I have done code for an Arduino that does the opposite, takes SPort se...
