Question regarding R9M an available options
Hey so I have both the R9M and the R9M lite. I have not flashed the Flex firmware because I have been told since I live in the USA I do not need the Flex firmware. So I updated both my X-Lite and the X9D+ to OpenTX 2.2.3 reloaded all my models and settings. In the screen where you select what you wa...

Re: Repurposing Trims
Yeah I see that but will assigning it to a mix automatically keep it from being used a trim as well. So if I assign my rudder trim to channel 9 to change tail gain, i dont want it also giving rudder trim.

Repurposing Trims
Hey guys so I was browsing the net today and came across and interesting webpage http://rc-soar.com/opentx/setups/adjuster/adjuster.htm It describe the process of changing what the trims do. I don't use trims right now on my taranis and would be great to have them to adjust parameters in my flybarle...

Re: Clarification regarding sensor data and how fast it is read
I have been looking into OpenXsensor, but you are saying that it wouldnt work but it is not because of the downlink speed but rather filtering? I was thinking about adding an accelerometer/gyro with the baro as recommended in the openxsensor config description. Here is an example of what I am wantin...

OK so I was talking about setting up hard deck and triggering rescue. Lets say I am practicing a new maneuver and I dont want to drop below 10ft So do the programming in the Taranis to trigger my rescue channel when Vario says I am below 10ft. That is what that comment it towards. He is saying that ...

Clarification regarding sensor data and how fast it is read
I have a guy telling me this "There is not much benefit to using a 2 sensor baro setup with the FrSky telem system. Doesn’t matter if it is FrSky or OpenX etc. There are a few problems- - The lag with the sensor doesn’t change with multiple sensors. Whatever lag there is internally at the senso...

I want to learn it. I got people I could help with it once I learn plus I am going to need for other models. That being said I have built arduino things before. Not familiar with coding though. I build then upload code that is already done. But github is like french to me. I dont know how it works.

Carbo! Thank you for that. Although I get so confused when it comes to github I am not sure how to use it. I need a tutorial. Also I would not be sure how to do what your post is describing with the frsky sensor. What your post is talking about is DIY arduino sensors correct?

Hey guys so I installed this sensor about 3 weeks ago in my heli and I have an issue with it where the altitude slowly increases. This happens while the heli is just sitting. Re: calculatiing Headspeed on taranis
Awesome thank you. Can you explain how the calculation works. I am a bit confused on it? Is it basically dividing the RPM by 933 and then multiplying it by 100. That works out correct as far as max headspeed is concerned. I just want to make sure I am understanding it totally.

OK so I have been trying to get this working it is making me feel stupid. My Gear ratio is 9.33 Obviously i cannot put in 9.33 under blades and if I just put in 9 the head speed is not correct. What in the world am I doing wrong.....
