For info, on OpenTX: If Extended Trims is OFF (trim range is 25%) then Instant Trim can work on that trim range (25%). If Extended Trims is ON (trim range is 100%) then Instant Trim will still only allow up to 25% on the first click, BUT if a trim has been maxed out a second click will allow this tr...

ABS is a pain and most people avoid it now, PETG is much easier and replaces ABS for most uses. PETG would be good for this indeed, PLA there was for sure no chance it would last.

On the aircraft side no, but if you use PPM between radio and module that will still be slower than using PXX.

Re: Jumper T12 Multi FrskyX Not Available (R222)

The implementation of the communication as done by erskytx/opentx IS open source. It's there and anyone can make use of it as they see fit for their own use. If it's for commercial purposes it might or might not be different depending on whether FrSky has some kind of protection related to that.

Re: Problems Getting FrSky Telemetry Working

Probably old multimodule firmware for the LBT issue, but in passthrough mode it's normal no sensors are discovered, the whole purpose of it is to be "passed through" directly to the lua interpreter to be handled by a script instead of being processed by the built-in sensors system.

If you have an original X-Lite you should not be using 2.3, it's not released yet. It's available as pre-release only for X-Lite Pro and X9 Lite.

Re: Taranis Q X7 International FW connecting XSR-SIM EU LBT or FCC ?

You can flash the xsr-sim with international firmware.

It appears as a standard joystick so any lib for that should work.

Note that you might need to plug it in your board after it has booted.

Re: use both internal and multiprotocol module at the same time

It is not possible to have 2 telemetry streams at the same time. Make sure to disable the MULTI_STATUS and MULTI_TELEMETRY in module firmware as well as just TELEMETRY, that is still stuff talking on the line. Also make sure you don't use AUTOBIND, that's likely what causes your receiver to lose bin...

The module by default expects AETR order, and will automatically remap that to what's standard for every different protocol.

You can disable that in module firmware if you don't want it.

PPM straight to the XJT should work. It might need a firmware older than latest.

GPS speed can be very unreliable on things that constantly change direction with high acceleration. At least if you want to have a chance of it working well you need to make sure to configure the module to use the "airborne <4G" navigation model instead of the default one meant for slow and mostly 2...
