Re: 9xr pro lua scripts

Lua is not supported on the 9XR Pro, not enough RAM on that model.

Re: Mix offsets the servo band

You need to set up your limits and mechanical throws properly to allow for the added actions to still be in range.

Re: Frsky R9M

64GB and larger comes formatted as EXFAT which the radio can't do anything with. So either reformat the card as FAT32 or use a smaller one.

Re: Tricky to link receivers and dongle

That thing doesn't even say what FrSky protocol it's supposed to work with, and obviously there are no files to flash it.

Might have been a better choice to go with the actual FrSky offering, that one IS flashable. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/xsr-sim-eu-version.html

Re: Tricky to link receivers and dongle

"Flight controller: XMF3E (Integrate with XM receiver)" So you want the firmware for the XM receiver. We don't know what your "orange dongle" is. You have probably misunderstood that the OpenTX version has nothing to do with whther the radio is trasnmitting international or EU, that is determined by...

Re: Cant build install target

That target only works on linux, you need "installer" for windows which if you have all dependencies properly installed will build the installer package that you can install.

Alternatively you can copy all the auxiliary files from a normal companion install into your build dir and it'll run.

Re: Beginners silly question re use of Companion.

In pretty much every computer program "Save" saves the currently open document under the same name it's been either already saved or opened as, "Save As" makes a new copy under a new name. If no already saved document is open "Save" does the same as "Save As"...

I've soldered 18650s the same way several times without issue... NiMH doesn't like heat either so in both cases you need to be "quick and precise".

No, would need hardware changes. When USB is connected with power off the processor is put in DFU bootloader mode through hardwided connections.

What's the purpose?

Can you please confirm whether PhoenixRC, RealFlight and AeroFly the only simulators which require copy protection dongle? Are there other simulators which require them as well?
How would I know? I expect any commercial one to do so. There are free ones around.

Then unless you do the right thing and buy those programs legitimately in which case you'd have no problem you'll have to deal with the "annoyance" of buying multiple crack dongles.

If you want plug and play wireless, frsky make one.. https://www.amazon.com/FrSky-Compact-XS ... B07GD6ZLW7

But yeah, your issue is likely copy protection given the list of things you give.

Read the eeprom and firmware from a similar 9x AFHDS 2a using a smartie parts basic board, then flashed the eeprom followed by the firmware.
By default flashing firmware erases the EEPROM. You must flash firmware first and EEPROM second.

Re: Charging the Taranis X9D Plus?

The Taranis usually charges using the power supply that would be supplied with it and connects to the side port.
You can of course take the battery out and build yourself a cable to connect to whatever other charger.

Re: Turnigy 9X AFHDS 2A system

AFAIK the module just takes PPM and handles the AFHDS2A on its own (single model), the software of the radio is unmodified. Either flash the EEPROM from the stock firmware which should get things working again, or move to open software.
