Re: Yaapu on tarania x9d+ 2019

Yaapu telemetry does not use standard telemetry, it uses passthrough telemetry which requires specific configuration on the flight controller and an adapter between FC and receiver.

Internal module ISRM-S 1.1.0/1.1.3EU
Receiver: FrSky RX4R flashed with RX4R_ACCESS_2.1.0.frsk
These need to match. Flash internal module with 2.1.0.

Re: Weird model memory data in Companion

You cannot use companion 2.2 with with fimware 2.3, you need to use companion 2.3.

Also you should not run a Horus on 2.3 firmware lower than 2.3.5.

Re: twin turbine RPM

Physical ID can be changed with the servo channel changer and is enough to distinguish sensors, has been used that way for 5 years in OpenTX. The ID can nowadays also be changed using scripts or FrSky's PC program if you have an appropriate interface cable, so it makes little sense to stock multiple...

I have searched this site high and low, and I can't find any lists of supported radios and firmwares. OpenTX has one, but it is VERY incomplete.
?
It's exhaustive: http://www.open-tx.org/radios

The boards of the X9 Lite and X-Lite are the smallest.

Yeah it might work or not... Some may have an outright faulty flash cell, but some might only fail in certain temperature/supply voltage conditions that makes them still work sometimes, but not across all the specced ranges.

Re: Any chance to add the Pro Micro Board to OSX in the near future ?

The C8s (which are really what's on the blue pill) are basically CBs that have a defect in one half of the flash, and are thus sold as 64k. You can flash a bigger image but it can have unpredicatable results. Happened to a few people who DIYed multiprotocols lately and had crashes because of that. D...

You need companion to download the file, but once that's done you can put it on the SD card and flash from the bootloader.

Re: Did I erase my radio/chip? Or just fry a regulator?

If I had to hazard a guess I'd say something touched that shouldn't have and sent 5V or more into the 3.3V rail, blew up the MCU, which since acts as the partial short you're seeing.

Re: please hold my hand updating ancient firmware (orginal x9D))

If you have model setups you want to keep then you will have to be a bit more careful than that, but if you want to start fresh then just flash the latest version and load the matching files on the SD.

Re: Low channel values while initalizing

What firmware are your XJT and receiver running? Don't think that's something that can acted on, it's the behavior of the module when powered up with no input signal. On other radios the module isn't powered up until there is signal to send, but on this one it's not possible since there is no soft p...

What's that radio? Photo? Never heard of it.
There's no bootloader nor PC connection facility at all on AVR based radios, basically any exchange requires an atmega programmer. I doubt there's one built in to the radio.
