FrSky-supplied version has both, plain OpenTX has just the one.

Re: R9M Baudrate And Pin out (Special Needs People)

The radio sends commands to the module via a proprietary "PXX" pulse train, not standard serial. Probably best to look at the code to see how it works. Even better is to give more details about what you actually want your system to do, since there are several commonly used "repeater" solutions alrea...

Both 2 and 3 pin work, and yes there's a detection contact. And no, NEVER use a jack for power, everything shorts to everything during connection.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

I personally MUCH prefer the X12S, feels more comfortable and convenient (with the 3rd party support bars), screen on top is just "right". I find the X10S really awkward to hold, poor screen placement, bad balancing, and aesthetically pretty ugly while the X12S is just the opposite right in the swee...

Yep, just not "backup radio to file", that's not going to work with FrOS data. This stays 100% untouched by OpenTX anyway.

Re: New X10S firmware?

Flashing with dfu-util (what the Zadig driver installation for the STM32 bootloader is for) is done with power off and no drives are visible, just like with the X9D.

Nah, had already bought them back then (probably from mouser as well) but ended up never using them since I retired my 9X's shortly after. Sold them to jhsa actually :)

Yes it was removed since it was pointless to keep it when nothing was ever made and was causing confusion for people who said they somehow couldn't select it.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

There are known issues with the internal RF modules of "old" Taranis radios and the SxR receivers where some RX numbers don't work properly. It's unrelated to ersky9x/OpenTX, just a thing that's between the RF module and receiver that we can't do anything about and isn't fixed by module firmware upd...

It is not, you also need a battery installed and power switch on. Flashing on programmer power only is known to be insufficient and potentially render the processor unusable.

Are you supplying proper power to the radio? Power from the programmer typically isn't enough.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

BTW, the only warning I have found about the MLVSS is to not put two of them in series - nothing about not being recommended (or, conversely, FLVSS being recommended instead) for systems which require two devices (in any combination, except as noted below). From both the FrSky-rc site and the Horus...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Weird bug! The 2x MLVSS setup isn't popular since it's highly recommended to use FLVSS in multiple sensor configs unless you're really sure you know what you're doing. Since the MLVSS isn't isolated you can only use multiple if the batteries share a common ground. It's your case now, but if on your ...

Come back when your multimeter has arrived, hard to do anything without.

Unless you have a universal battery charger that does NiMH, then just take the battery out and charge with that.
