Re: Delete/remove models

You can do a factory reset if you want to start with a clean slate. Menu Long to enter Radio Settings, Page forward to the Version screen which should have a Factory Reset option.....Menu Long and then confirm. This will erase all models and reset all radio settings.

Re: Delete/remove models

Menu to get model list
+ or - to move to the model you want to delete
Enter long (hold enter) to get pop up menu with delete model as one of the entries.

You can not delete the active model, select a different model and make it active then move to the one you want to delete and Enter Long.

Re: Taranis Doesn't Show On PC?

What do you have under Disk drives in Device Manager? My Windows 10 device manager does not show it under USB's the way yours does. Mine shows up under Disk drives as FrSky Taranis USB device. Do you get the Windows sounds when you plug in the Taranis? Perhaps you can download USBDeview and see what...

Re: Taranis Doesn't Show On PC?

Zadig installed drivers should only be used if the radio is attached Powered Off. If you ever run Zadig and install drivers with the radio attached powered on (which I suspect you have done) it will delete the correct drivers and install wrong ones. With the radio attached powered off (using Zadig i...

Re: Unable to check for updates Ubuntu 16.04

Before doing something that drastic I would check a couple more things. I don't know what Ubuntu installs with openssl so I would check if libopenssl-devel is installed and also (I'm guessing you have a 64 bit system) that the 32 bit libopenssl-32bit libraries are installed. If not I would install t...

Re: Unable to check for updates Ubuntu 16.04

That's a nasty little problem...but at least it explains why you can't connect. There is a problem with Companion's qt version being able to get to use https secure connections. Sorry, but I don't know anything about Ubuntu and won't be much help. My guess is that it is a problem with your systems o...

Re: Unable to check for updates Ubuntu 16.04

Since nobody that knows Ubuntu jumped in with suggestions I'll give you a couple more. The site that gets checked for updates is downloads.open-tx.org. 1. Make sure you can get to it by pinging it: HP-Linux:~/frsky/opentx/git/opentx/ # ping downloads.open-tx.org PING downloads.open-tx.org (51.15.192...

Re: Unable to check for updates Ubuntu 16.04

The server was up when I posted last. I downloaded a x9d firmware just to make sure. I'm not familiar with Ubuntu, I use Windows 10 and openSUSE Leap 42.3 and nether one of them have a problem downloading firmware. I'm pretty sure a few people on here are using Ubuntu so maybe they can suggest somet...

Re: Unable to check for updates Ubuntu 16.04

Yes, you must first download the firmware to your computer using Companion, there is no other way to download it. Companion knows from where to download it. Did you try to download it manually as I told you in my last post? Click "File" from the menu, click Download form the file drop down and click...

Re: Unable to check for updates Ubuntu 16.04

If you have 2.2.1 Companion you have either already downloaded 2.2.1 firmware or said to ignore it. In either case checking for updates won't download it again. If you already downloaded the firmware just burn it to the transmitter. And if you have either not downloaded it or can't remember where yo...

Re: Taranis Plus start up

Since you have a Taranis and a Plus you need to be careful that you have the right radio type selected in Companion before you work with a radio. You can't read models and settings from one and write it to the other or you will overwrite the general settings and make a mess. You should set up a prof...

Re: Taranis Plus start up

Go into Companion and change Settings-Radio Type to Frsky Taranis X9D+. Make sure EU is not checked if you want to use D8 receivers (All other modes will still be EU-LBT. Then go to File-Download, make sure x9d+ is in the filename, click "Download Firmware" button. Tell it where to save it. After it...

Re: Taranis Plus start up

You need to download the firmware again after you change the settings. That setting is what firmware you download, not what you flash. You should...

Re: Receiver Firmware

If you just want to be able to use your old receivers on your new transmitter you can download and install openTX firmware without checking EU option and you should be able to bind them in D8 mode on the new transmitter. The other modes will still be EU-LBT, it just gives you D8 mode also.

rxbt is the receiver battery, not the transmitter battery. In your case probably the BEC voltage so 5.2 was probably correct.

Re: OpenTX Companion simulator - no voltage readings

https://github.com/opentx/opentx specifically https://github.com/opentx/opentx/blob/2.2/companion/src/simulation/telemetrysimu.cpp I could submit a one line change to add colToFuncMap.insert("Cels(V)", CELS_GRE); to make it work the same way as editing the header does if it would be useful. Don't th...

Re: OpenTX Companion simulator - no voltage readings

Yes, but looking at the code it looks like the intent was to have log replay display the total cels value in the Cel1 position: case CELS_GRE: ui->cell1->setValue(columnData[info.dataIndex].toDouble()); However it is looking for Cels(gRe) in the log header instead of Cels(V): colToFuncMap.insert("Ce...

Re: OpenTX Companion simulator - no voltage readings

The list of sensors in the telemetry simulator are not dynamically generated, meaning they are hard coded and not created from what is on the radio or in the log file. So since Vmin is not one of the provided simulated sensors you will not be able to simulate it or see it on log replay. Cels not upd...

Re: Time in log file

The time format looks good to me (see my screen shot of your log). You have many invalid records. Everything after 10:29:39.910 is invalid. Did you change something with telemetry or sensor logging during that session? The log becomes invalid if the number of logged items changes during a log period...

Re: Time in log file

My openTX 2.2.1 X9D logs the same time of day as shown on the transmitter with the exception of adding decimal seconds in the format HH:MM:SS.SSS (15:26:18.090). I think Adjust RTC is only used if you have a GPS and want to set/correct the RTC using GPS time in which case the time zone is needed to ...

Re: Radio Menu only has 9 pages instead of 13 (and do Display page)

Strange. Have you updated the bootloader on the one with only 9 pages? If not I would update the bootloader to 2.2.1 and flash the firmware again. If that doesn't work I don't know.

Re: Radio Menu only has 9 pages instead of 13 (and do Display page)

Have you checked the version on the transmitter to make sure it actually flashed? Long press menu and page forward a couple of pages. Frsky put a bad bootloader on some 2.1.6 systems. If it didn't flash use copy to SD or power off methods.

I am working to add the Corona V1 receivers to the Module. When I select protocol PPM I see two timing numbers. The first is the PPM stream cyc...

Re: Taranis X9D (original one). Cant get into bootloader.

The bootloader wasn't added until openTX 2.0 so your Taranis won't have it. You will need to upgrade using the power off methoid using Zadig (if you are using Windows) https://github.com/opentx/opentx/wiki/Taranis-Bootloaders . It sounds like you don't really have any models that will need converted...
