Re: How to contribute source code to OpenTx?
Ok, I'll do that github stuff.
I have the good old Turnigy 9x with a few modules, and brand new 9x waiting for a 2561 update.
Thanks guys!

How to contribute source code to OpenTx?
Hi all I have made some minor changes to OpenTX which may be useful to others. I am sure this is mentioned somewhere... but could not find it... How do I contribute to the project? Send a patch file, or git link, or something else, to somebody? At the moment, I have two patches I am using regularly ...

Re: Wrong curve drawn in curve edit screen
It does make sense, but first it is far from obvious
I wonder if we could have something on the screen indicating that the curve is not the one you are editing..
Thanks

Re: Wrong curve drawn in curve edit screen
I think I need to explain this a bit more... I am actually talking about the STICKS page exponential curves... I have the following configuration: Dual rate configured on Rudder, on the RUD switch Rud Weight(75%) Expo(40%) Switch(!RUD) Weight(100%) Expo(20%) Switch(RUD) With this confguration, if I ...

Wrong curve drawn in curve edit screen
Been playing with 2.0.11, with my new T-REX. Noticed today that the curve drawn in the curve edit screen is not the curve you are editing, but the active curve, whatever that is at the moment. This is very confusing... :o Actually, it would be helpful to have a cross (a dashed line cross etc.) on th...

Servo limits broken on 2.0.10 (9x)
I just upgraded to 2.0.10, and first thing I noticed was I was getting only -10..10 range on all channels! After some evaluation, I concluded that companion is writing 1/10 of the value into the radio. If I change servo limits to -80..80, the actual value written to the radio is -8..8. There was an ...

Re: Simulating er9x
Too bad :( I found that very useful when working on the GUI. I'll see if I can make the changes to r790 that is used by the last companion9x, and then move them over to the lastest er9x. Hopefully not too diffucult. Otherwise, would be great to have that functionality in eepe. It was in companion fo...

Simulating er9x
I am trying to simulate the er9x User Interface, like you were able to do with older Companion9x's. I have some GUI mods for my personal taste, and I would like to port them to er9x, now that opentx has gone unfriendly to 9x.. :( I tried eepe, but if I understand correctly, it does not have the UI s...

Re: Erratic free memory
Okey, I understand the technical side of the issue. Still, a jumping number on the screen is not very helpful, especially if you need to select every model to see what is the lowest value...
I wonder if it would be possible (or easy) to simply report that lowest value in the first place?

Re: Erratic free memory
So, if the numbers I see are max 250 / min 29 bytes, does it mean I can add a new model of size less than 250 bytes, or only less than 29 bytes?Kilrah wrote:It does change as some memory is used for a temporary file, and it's size depends on the selected model's size.

Erratic free memory
I just noticed that OpenTx (9x) is reporting rather erratic free eeprom figures. Depending on the model selected, the "free XX" number on the screen varies between 29 and 250. I would guess the free memory should not change like that?

Re: Name for the 5pin connector in the module
That's great, thanks!
I also found the kind of socket that's in the turnigy module, it's apparently called 'pin strip header'.

FrSky telemetry sharing the ribbon with USBASP?
I wonder if this would work... in the wiki and other sources the telemetry always uses separate wires from the CPU to the back board. As I have the USBASP on the back board, I realised MISO and MOSI are readily in the ribbon! Comments? http://i1189.photobucket.com/albums/z427/fastt501/Turnigy9x/IMG_...

IDEA: Two more inputs using +/- UP/DN with 9X
Hi, I would love to have two more control inputs (with 9X), working like the trim buttons, but using the +/- and UP/DN buttons. Obviously the current shortcut functions to Radio setup / Telemetry / Models / Debug should be moved. For example, we could have two "modes", flight mode and conf...

Companion9x 1.47 on Mac not starting
Ugh.
Just downloaded companion9x update 1.47 for Mac. When running it, it only says "companion9x quit unexpectedly", nothing else happens.
Put 1.46 back and it is working fine.
Just to let you know...

Esky TX module with 9x
Hi guys, just got my first 9x and finished modding it. I have quite a few Esky Rx modules and I have been happy with them... never had a glitch (knock wood) and the range is about one mile (!!). Not to mention they are dirt cheap. Been using them in my smaller park flyers for years, so I really want...
