Hi Kilrah - thats what i was hoping to find out! ... If it's got 110-240V as the range of voltage, then all i need is a US - AUS plug converter which is easy enough to source.
I don't have it yet which is why i was asking - thanks!

Frsky Taranis Plus - Power Adapter voltage range?
Hi All, I'm trying to find out what the input voltage range of the standard power adapter that is shipped with the Taranis or Taranis Plus might be? For charging up the internal Ni-Mh battery. Mine is being shipped from the US and will be supplied with the standard US plug and will obviously work wi...

Kilrah, By the look of your pics, you moved the rudder/elevator servos to open up the space inside the body? ... Where did you move them to? Any chance of some more pics? I have a spare AXN body and so have been thinking about using it for a first FPV setup. What other components did you use? Any in...

Re: er9x internally and external module usage
Mike, I've started buying my FrSky gear through Alofthobbies ... they are US based but their prices seem to be every bit as good as HKs and the shipping is substantially quicker. It was 8 days to get to AUS and that included a public holiday long weekend. Wayne (the owner) is very active in answerin...

Repairing stripped Tx case screws?
Hi, I've now opened/closed/opened my 9x Tx case that many times that i've stripped the thread out of a couple of the case screws. I was wondering if there was any advice as to the best options for repair? I'm assuming it'll involve some level of glue use to create a new thread, but would appreciate ...

Re: LiFe Battery Pack
Max charged voltage for the LiFE will be 10.8V but it drops very quickly to 9.9V and then stays there for a very long time with "normal" Tx usage. I'm currently flying every weekend and only recharging every 3-4 weeks

Re: LiFe Battery Pack
Gohsthb, I don't believe he's talking about charging via the charging jack on the side of the Tx. This would certainly NOT be a good idea. I believe he's indicating that there are three connectors on the LIFE battery. One is the balence lead, one is a servo connector and the other is another connect...

Equally curious as to how much this is marketting fluff versus reality. Surely there are enough ïndependent reviewers out there who would be willing and able to provide wider community feedback on the product. 9 mins of video presenting the product and about 20 seconds of that provided any real view...

Thanks

Re: Frsky module - using with standard F/W?
Scott, You can use the separate FrSky display screen (FrSky FLD-02 - LCD Display) that can be attached to the 9x (separate mounting kit). This will sound the alarms that you set separately from the 9x however! But it does make it a little more visible. This runs with the ER9X or NHT versions of the ...

Might help others in the future if you bundle this up into an eepe/eepm file and post it into the thread that has the library of mixes. Attach an explanation of what you were looking to achieve and then it'll be immortalised

Check out rcmodelreviews on YouTube (or the forum), he's flown fpv with 5.8Ghz For video and FrSky 2.4Ghz for the plane and flew to around the 2km mark. Videos were from about a year ago from memory? You do want to make sure you've got a RTL capability if youre going that far though

Replace DJT with DHT and i'm in exactly the same position :-) I'm hoping that whoever it was that did the mods WITHOUT the need to include the RS232 steps will find the time to post some further details (ie include it in the WIKI). In following the conversation, that seems to have the most appeal. I...

Re: LiFe Battery Pack
Gyro, Can you comment on what amount of current (mah) you have pulled out of the 1500 mah battery by the time you've dropped to 8.4V? I understand that for LIPO's the general rule of thumb is to not draw more than 80% of rated capacity in order to avoid brown outs and to maximise the life of the bat...

eePe simulator - trim on elevator shows up on throttle
Hi, I seem to have found a minor issue with the eePe simulator. I have a simple 4 channel setup on the first model in ER9x and after the maiden of the aircraft i imported the model configs back into eePe - which included a noticable amount of elevator trim. This all showed up as you'd expect it to u...

Re: End of the line for the 9X?
Has anybody thought about approaching FlySky to see if they will make a version of the 9x available that comes WITHOUT the main PCB? That would be useful for those that are expecting/wanting to put in the ERSKY9X board when it is past beta test phase. If it takes $10-$15 off the price of the unit, i...

More useful information on the IBCrazy antennae designs (both clover leaf and skew planar) here:

I believe this is the antennae design that Bruce is using on his backpack too.
