Re: Review: FRSKY S8R Receiver
I thought I also checked that would work as well. Put the Rx into "auto-level" mode and adjust the AIL and ELE output directions so the elevons respond correctly, reversing the outputs as required. If you can't get that to work, swap the servo connections, then you should be able to get i...

Re: Review: FRSKY S8R Receiver
Unless you want "hover" or "knife edge" you may mount the Rx sideways (across the fuselage). I checked this out on the bench a while ago, all you need to do is plug the aileron servo into the ELE output and the elevator servo into the AIL output! Mike Doesn't work for a wing ins...

Re: Review: FRSKY S8R Receiver
I REALLY wish they'd update the GUI/Firmware so you can turn the Rx sideways. I have a few projects where sideways would be a much easier installation. Seems like a big oversight and such an easy fix.

Re: New openTX features
We're all behind you. If it takes a membership, I'll buy one (or two if I have to). I'm doing all I can to help generate funds for you guys. Hopefully FrSky steps up to the plate and does the right thing. Keep up the good work, I'm sure this will come around to a situation that will benefit all, but...

Re: How to use Taranis with Simulator ?
Use the wizard to set up a simple 4 channel aircraft. Then in the trainer settings, turn the module off by selecting "slave" as opposed to "master". That should be all you need to do.

Re: Model Names spoken Project
Nice Scott, you got all mine in. Thanks! I do it in Adobe bridge -- but not sure about in windows. By the way -- these names do NOT fit the convention needed for the 10.3 format for the Taranis - but I wanted them to be clear what they are. So -- anybody that uses these be aware many/most will need ...

Re: Can't flash Taranis...
No, as mentioned you just needed to run zadig. Sent via mobile Had a friend having this problem come over today. His Taranis would NOT flash with his computer. Worked fine (after running zadig) with mine. Device manager recognized computer. Ran zadig and did replace driver many times. Works fine co...

Re: What Receivers work with the Taranis
Any idea why I can't bind to my D6FRs?? I have no trouble with my 8 channel Rxs. I put the Taranis into bind mode and I just can't get the receiver led to flash. No jumper is called for and I AM holding down the F/S button on power up. I'm following the directions, but no luck.
Anybody??

Beeps at 3 second intervals
I thought I felt pretty comfortable with the programming. I've set up 3 models now successfully. But I don't know what I did this evening to make this thing beep at me every 3 seconds. The screen blinks when the beep occurs and when the screen shuts off, the screen flashes when it beeps. Voltage is ...

Scratch that. I just rebooted my computer, ran zadig AGAIN, did what you posted AGAIN and seemed to have stuck this time. I just flashed 4 times in a row.
Thanks again for all the help!

Can't flash Taranis...
I just got my radio today, I hooked it up to my computer tonight and everything seemed to install alright. That was just a test run, so I went back to flash it again with the settings that I wanted. Now my computer (Win7) won't allow me to burn to the Tx. At first I got errors stating that the "...
