Weight or End Points?
When setting up a new model and once I have mechanically set the control surface throws as best I can to the model manufacturers specifications, I fine tune the final desired movements on the Tx. As far as I can see there are two ways to do this. Either by adjusting the weight or the end points. Wha...

Re: Archer SR series Custom failsafe autolevel not working
I was reading this https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthr ... rs-Release
Others are reporting the same problem. Frsky have acknowledged it's a bug and intend to fix it at next FW release.

Access Protocol: Rx Registering
I have a new Access Rx and two Access Tx's. I want to register the Rx with both Tx's. I don't have a problem doing that. But my question is about adding new models. The Registration function is in the Model Setup menu. Does that mean that only that Model entry in the Tx's will be registered with the...

Re: SR10 Pro - Channels?
Penny has dropped.........
So, for example, channel 13 could be assigned to pin 9 and channel 14 to pin 10. Thus preserving the pins as being usable. Have I got this right?

SR10 Pro - Channels?
Just bought one of these new Archer receivers. There are 10 PWM outputs but the manual appears to have been created by cut n pasting the channel configuration from the S8R manual. For instance, channel 9 for gain, channel 10 (Quick Mode) for flight modes. How can this be so when these channels have ...

Re: ACCESS D16 FW Version?
Is the hardware some how factory set via some kind of internal ROM This, in order to prevent people from being able to change it. Found it. Radio Setup 7/7 Modules / RX Versions. Set to EU and I can't change it. Not even if I change Country Code on 3/7. Therefore, I now know that my Rx's will need ...

Re: ACCESS D16 FW Version?
The region of ACCESS modules is not stored in the firmware anymore, so the same module firmware will transmit either one depending on what the hardware was set to. Is the hardware some how factory set via some kind of internal ROM or does the region setting in OpenTx control this via Radio Setup 3/...

Re: ACCESS D16 FW Version?
D16 has been there from the start and there are both versions. Thanks. Frsky are recommending v2.1.0 for the internal module. However, there is no LBT / FCC option in the download folder for the ISRM internal module. When I come to upgrading my X8R Rx I can choose between FCC / LBT. Any idea which ...

ACCESS D16 FW Version?
I've got one of the newer Tx's (X9D Lite) that has the ACCESS protocol. Recently, the D16 protocol has been added. My question is what ACCST FW version of D16 is this using? If it's the newer v2.1.0 then I guess I'm going to have to upgrade the FW in my Rx's for everything to work together.

Has anyone successfully flown an IC fixed wing model with the S6R? Last time I tried a stabiliser in an IC model the vibration sent the thing haywire. TIA.

Re: Archer R6 - RSSI Warnings
The OpenTx defaults are Low alarm 45 and Critical alarm 42. That's both on the X9D Lite and QX7 Tx's. Range check at these values is OK. On a typical 7 min flight with my Max Thrust Riot I'm getting 4 or 5 voice warnings. Not flying too far out. I'll lower the settings to 35 and 32 respectively next...

Archer R6 - RSSI Warnings
I've recently acquired a Frsky X9D Lite Tx and an Archer R6 Rx. When flying I keep getting RSSI low / critical voice warnings. I've moved the Tx antenna to different positions to avoid the dead spot but it keeps happening. The Tx is running the latest version of OpenTx. I think I read somewhere that...

FrSky have a new menu item on their website for the protocol here:https://www.frsky-rc.com/frsky-advanced-communication-control-elevated-spread-spectrum-access-protocol-release/ It has download links for the new FW on a range of Rx's but no instuctions on how to flash the Rx's nor what version of Op...

Access Protocol - HowTo?
I've seen that FrSky have recently launched this new protocol. It looks good to me. I have a QX7 running OpenTx 2.1. and a bunch of various FrSky Rx's. I'm trying to find a HowTo that describes how I can take advantage of the new protocol. Any links greatly appreciated.

Variable End Point?
I'm installing a Bavarian Demon Cortex in a petrol model. The tutorial vid shows a 3 POS switch being used to change flight modes. A Spectrum radio is used in the vid and it recommends using "end points" the adjust the gain. In OpenTX I can assign a 3 POS switch just the same as in the vid...

Re: "Smart" Throttle Cut?
If you look at the "How To" section of my OpenTX documents in this section of the forum, you will find there is a smart throttle cut/arming routine which is very simple, but almost foolproof. Not only does it require the throttle to be at zero, but the switch has to be activated at betwee...

Re: "Smart" Throttle Cut?
Create a function entry for all the logical switches you need, then close and re-open the editing window. All logical switches that have a function entry will now appear in the drop down lists. I did this and with the LS/SF lines Joao provided then the switch is working as a safety switch as intend...

Re: "Smart" Throttle Cut?
I probably have an old companion, L01, L1, is all the same. I believe it is quite obvious Thanks for trying to help. Re: "Smart" Throttle Cut?
The first line of your L1 text does not match the input lines for Companion 2.2.1
The line begins with the name L01, not L1. After that the inputs do not match. Attached is a screen shot of the Logical input screen from Companion 2.2.1 in QX7 profile.
