Re: Alerts when timer has gone past zero

Just done this too, on my Series-A Taranis running the latest firmware...........excellent !!. My usual standard flight time for slope gliders is set 20 minutes, but if the air and lift is in my favour......I'll stop up for anything up to two hours !!. Having the verbal minus counter is a real bonus...

Haptic module for A series Taranis ?

Hi all. This has probably been covered elsewhere, but I've not been on for a while. I use one of the A-series Taranis's, and would like to fit the haptic module. I have read it can't be used with early models ?. From what I can see, no reason has been given on various websites ??. I'm running up to ...

Re: A couple of minor issues ?

Hiya. Thanks for that... Why change something for the worse, and have to mess around with programming to stop the permanent bleeping.....when there was nothing wrong at all before the firmware update ?. It doesn't make sense. It was perfect on 2940, but now....it can't be used as before....it can on...

Re: A couple of minor issues ?

Just tried the Vario plugged into my D8R-II Plus rx again, and the tx still bleeps constantly on and off all the time, when the Vario is switched on. It was perfectly alright before the firmware was upgraded to OpenTX 2 ?. I want to use the Vario, but it's next to useless at the moment ??. Please ad...

Re: "No Radio was found" Taranis X9D

Hiya. I had trouble for well over 6 months, trying to flash the older system......as I had one of the first Taranis in the UK. I finally figured it all out in January this year !!!. I could be wrong, so please anyone, put me right..........but the older system of OpenTx isn't compatible with OTX 2.0...

Re: A couple of minor issues ?

You can use the "side" setting feature to enter different parameters for each side of the stick. Or use ether a default or custom curve. For the beeps, hard to know without seeing your settings and/or have some clear description (video?) of the beeps. I tried the side setting......again, ...

Speech to sound converter

Hi all. I've found that a number of spoken commands are or were missing from the Taranis, especially with regards to sailplanes or EP powered models. I have used audacity to record my own commands with my own voice.......but it was a bit disturbing listening to myself !!. After trying various free b...

A couple of minor issues ?

Firstly, I'm really happy with the latest firmware upgrade to 2.0.....excellent. I don't know if I'm the first to mention these little issues.....so here goes. On entering "inputs" and selecting "edit"........how is it that only one side of "weight" can be adjusted........

Re: "No Radio was found" Taranis X9D

Disconnect USB cable. Turn the radio off. Hold both horizontal trims inwards, power the radio up. You should see a screen with "Taranis Bootloader". Connect USB cable. I had the same issue too......until I read the above way to do it. Fantastic, so much easier to use than the older versio...

Re: Replacement Battery For FrSky Taranis

Been a while since I posted....so The Lanyu Cherub has been replaced with a Multiplex Solius......what a glider !. As for Taranis batteries, a good high capacity Ni-Mh is more than good enough. I fully respect Lithium-based packs offer some benefits.....but I'd be cautious about using one in any Tx....
