Re: Wireless trainer opent TX 2.1
Solution found on the french forum of the Taranis.
i'm using a X8R in the external module bay connected to a turnigy 9x with a DHT module.
It works nice in the living room. As soon as the weather will be matching some free time, i'll test this outdoor.
Ask if you want som informations.

Turnigy 9X V1 with Taranis V1 gimbals problem on Open TX
Hi All. Due to a bad pot on my trunigy 9x, i have replaced the gimbals of my Taranis (A01 version 2013) by new ones, the original gimbals of the taranis have been succesfully integrated in my 9X V1. The fact is that the right horizontal and the left vertical are inverted, the only software able to d...

Re: Taranis Gimals in a 9X
Hello All. Due to a bad aileron pot in my 9x, i've ordered a pair of new frsky PR10 gimbal for my Taranis, and put the original ones in my 9x. Physically everything went fine, the gimbals are in place, cables soldered and calibration done. As i've read on this subject i have two channels inverted (A...

Re: Troubleshooting with Flight Mode UP/DOWN Slow parameter
@ Kilrah I have a 2 sec delay up/down in the mix of output 14 and a 7sec slow up/down on the related flight mode and it gives a strange behaviour. On the same plane, the spoilers also have a 2sec slow up/down on their outputs ( 7 & 8) and a 2sec slow up/down on the related flight modes and i do ...

Troubleshooting with Flight Mode UP/DOWN Slow parameter
Hello all. While trying to use flight modes on my warbirds to set the right trim on the elevator to match the various effects of the flaps and the landing gear, i've discovered a conflict between the "slow motion" of the flight modes and the Mixer delay function. As i have a electric retra...

Re: Taranis sticks centering
Hello Kilrah, There was a test of the Taranis in a french Magazin in november. In the test, the autho states that the tie-rap (colson) holding the cable near the potentiometers were altering the gimbals displacement and smotheness. Yesterday morning, i've removed thos tie-rap and the centering issue...

Thanks Rob.
It's now working fine
Due to the little centering issue, i've reduced the "dogleg" value to +2% ans -2%.
The issue i had on companion was due to a wrong curve setting left only on aileron stick. So there is no need now to copy my eeprom

Fine. Thanks for the help.
I'll test that this evening.
By the way, on companion, on the same plane program, i still have an issue while activating the function, but only on ailerons this time.

Re: Instant trim - do I understand it properly?
Just a question regarding this function :
Is it normal that the trims are modified by the function without touching the sticks?
It happens on Rudder/Elevator/Aileron on my Taranis, only on Ailerons on the same model program on comapnion9x.

Hi Rob.
After having begibnning trying to implement your solution, i must say that i am not sure to understand this :
"But put in a small dog leg to flatten in the middle".
Could you please show me with a screen copy on companion9x?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Question re instant trim function
Hi all.
I've activated this fonction on my Taranis.
But, i have a light centering issue on my gimbals.
It seems that the centering issue is affecting the instant trim.
Except changing the gimbals, is there another option?

Re: External Module Troubleshooting
I've found while testing some différent issues.
There is now another setting after the ms... it was setted up to 0u as default. Setting it to 100u, servos srarted moving.
What may be the best setting for me between 100u and 800u?

I was using the external module with my HFMG-3 multiplex without any issue. The Taranis was setted up on external module only, external mo...
