Re: X9D Plus bluetooth

Hi, I just want to push up this thread because I have another question. Bluetooth seems to be used fot telemetry but is there a possibility to use BT for teacher/student connection? I have a Jumper T16 where a BT module can be added to be used for this but is the X9D+ also BT capable for trainer/Stu...

Flow rate correction factors - restart required after modification?

Hi, I have done some OXS based flow meters with BMP280 pressure sensor for my friends towplanes. Now he is trying to adjust the correction factors. To give you an idea about the real flow rates he has done a series of tests with his two motors. Idle run was 10 minutes, full power 5 mins to get bette...

Re: X9D Plus bluetooth

Hi, What about BT-Audio. I hate cable connections from transmitter to pilot so BT-Audio with BT-Headset would be nice. I could use a regular audio transmitter in the battery compartment but how can I disable the internal speaker without having a signal at the audio-transmitter. Is the audio signal a...

Re: Airspeed sensing with TEK probe and diff pressure sensor planned?

Hi, This might be right but for me a pitot tube is no option since it cannot be removed from the plane and is quite bulky with regard to transport of the model. I am using the WSTech TEK tube (Braunschweiger Rohr). This can be easily removed for transport and used on other planes as well. In my Vent...

Airspeed sensing with TEK probe and diff pressure sensor planned?

Hi, In addition to OXS I am using the LinkVario Pro. In my opinion the best digital vario on the market. In my new glider I will test the airspeed sensing using the TEK-probe and a (I2C) diff pressure sensor who is connected to the TEK probe with a T-piece on one end and at the bottom of the fuselag...

Is there any chance to implement the Jeti EX bus?

Hi, Someone has created a library to handle the very sophisticated Jeti EX Bus. https://sourceforge.net/projects/jetiexbussensorcpplib/ The benefit of the EXBus is its speed and the fact that Servo positions are transmitted as well (similar to the Futaba SBus2). Maybe it is possible to implenet that...

Hi,
Thanks for this link but this is a Lua script working with OpenTX.
I am using Jeti so I cannot use this script.
But maybe these threads can be merged.

Travelled distance with GPS

Hi, there are several values given, when a GPS is connected to the oXs but I am missing one which is standard on other sensors. This is the total travelled distance during the flight. Would be nice to have this implemented as an additional value. A filter to avoid large steps when the GPS reception ...

Re: RPM value always shows 1000

Hi,

Just finished testing.
I used a pulse generator to generate 100 or 200Hz signals.
Input is port 8 according to the documentation.
In any configuration (just rpm, with GPS, with voltage/current) I get 1000rpm (Jeti protocol). even when no signal is present.

Re: RPM value always shows 1000

Hi again,

I have tested the signal coming from the YEP ESC and this is fine.
yep_rpmsignal.jpg
So there must be something wrong with the sensor. I will test this on the bread bord using a signal from a frequency generator.

RPM value always shows 1000

Hi, I was testing another sensor yesterday and found a strange behaviour. This sensor is using GPS and dual MS5611 Vario and a ACS current sensor. Single voltage measurement problem

Hi I am using an ACS758 with my sequencer project and found a little problem with the configuration. The files are attached. A0 is used for the current sensor, A1 measures the battery voltage using a 47k/10k voltage divider. When is set: #define NUMBEROFCELLS 0 I don't get a battery voltage paramete...

Re: Energy compensated vario with two MS5611 - how to configure

Hi Marcel,

You can use PIN "PS" as this is the mode selector (high = I2C) and this is internally connected to 3V3 using a 2k2 resistor.
So just connect CSB with PS and it will use the secondary address.

Hi,

I was able to test your last version with flow sensor as well.
Now the pushbutton reset as well as PPM-Signal reset are working as well in combination with the BMP280.

Thanks for your quick help

Re: OpenXSensor Jeti, flow sensor and reset through button / PPM

Hi all,

I am having a serious problem with the sequencer.
Please check my config files (attached).
I am pretty sure that this code used to work before but now the sequencer is not working at all.
Of course I am using the latest OXS code.

Any ideas?
