Ok, got the new module, but same story, rechecked all the soldering and everything looks to be right, checked voltages and checked for shorts. I'm stumped. Binds fine every time but no throttle control, I tried your Model Settings on my 9x Akkuschrauber, still no luck. Took some pics, maybe one of y...

Re: "Flip" button on Syma X1/WLToys v949

just the one 7105 :/
put the 3.3v reg on bat input, now its the one thats getting hot, ill have to order the ones in your schematic. Or use a 3A switching 5v reg that I already have, but its bulky.
Still no luck, binds but no throttle.

Ok, re-flashed the chip (r24) with everything connected, and now it binds to the hubsan (solid lights) only when ch 8 is high, but the green led is off? It only has solid lights though, no response from throttle. :(

Does the bind LED (orange) come on at all ? It should do so at every switch on while in Hubsan protocol. 180ma seems very high for the current draw from the 5v reg. It's only powering the ATMega and the LEDs. I suspect something amiss with the processor, does it get warm ? Is there any indication c...

Re: "Flip" button on Syma X1/WLToys v949

In r14 of the code I left the Led's, there's no need of them, but in the new one you will need it. You just need the Bind Button only one time for first bind process, so it is possible to use some kind of jumper, but you could integrate it easy, watch my first version of Cam's great work on page 3....
